You forgot to mention that Audrey Landers was on the biggest TV show of the time, Dallas, followed by a well-remembered role on One Life To Live, and had a successful recording career in Europe. They created and produced a children's tv show for PBS for five years. They both married well, so I'm guessing they just didn't need to worry about their careers that much, and just do what they wanted and interested them.

I didn’t watch Dallas so I had no idea she was on it. Couldn’t have been that big a role though, even if it was semi regular. Seems like she was the more talented one, her Wikipedia says she had moderate success in Europe and charred some singles.

She was one of the few supporting characters that got brought back both for one of the reunion movies and the TNT revival. For Dallas fans, I would say she is one of the most recognizable people outside of the main cast.
