His comments don’t bother me at all. All he said was, essentially, there was a time when even people who are polar opposite of him, in the Senate, could all work together on the people’s business. The entire point was to emphasize just how completely opposite these others were, from him.
Today, the two sides literally don’t even speak to each other.
We should expect more overblown whining like this until the election, unfortunately.
