He's a terrific actor in this--I'm very impressed. He's very interesting because he's got a very nice body (he's shirtless for many scenes in the show), but he can look alternately extremely handsome or like a regular person, depending on how he's photographed.
He was supposed to be a huge breakout star years ago after "Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson," but he really took some missteps since then (like "Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter"). I hope this gets him back on track--he's very good and can be very sexy.
