[quote]The podium placements were based on each of the candidates' qualifying public polling through Wednesday, June 12. The placements started with top polling candidates beginning at the center positions, with lower polling contenders being placed closer to the edges of the stage. Candidates who were tied in the polls were ranked based on the overall number of qualifying polls.

Will all of them get the same amount of time for replies?

Williamson and her supporters already busy channeling Reiki energy into her spot, no doubt.

Too bad SNL is on summer hiatus. They would have had fun parodying these overcrowded debates. This article makes some good predictions and we'll probably some of these castings when the fall rolls around.

I can already imagine a skit that's just a never-ending intro of every candidate.

by Anonymousreply 8June 18, 2019 10:59 PM

Williamson will provide the laughs.

by Anonymousreply 9June 18, 2019 11:29 PM

Isn’t that tonight?

Is there an official thread?

by Anonymousreply 10June 18, 2019 11:40 PM

R10 no it's on June 26th and June 27th

by Anonymousreply 11June 18, 2019 11:42 PM

Well they give Mayor Pete a stool to stand on?

by Anonymousreply 12June 18, 2019 11:43 PM

Going by previous ones, how confrontational is the first DNC debate? Or does everyone basically just lay out their positions and that's it?

by Anonymousreply 13June 19, 2019 12:02 AM

R13 I would imagine some like Beto will have to go on the attack if they hope stay in the race.

by Anonymousreply 14June 19, 2019 12:07 AM

Beto will have some stunt to get noticed.

by Anonymousreply 15June 19, 2019 12:09 AM

R15, maybe Beto should present his hole. That's what I do every day.

by Anonymousreply 16June 19, 2019 12:10 AM

Only if they give Andrew Yang an even taller stool, r12. He's 5'7".
