I would literally have people hand me weights because I was so determined to be the best at something. In this case, having the best body. Now, yes, getting off the painkillers was tough because of the length of time I was prescribed them, but I had no issues doing so.

Anyway, I wandered rather aimlessly through life until starting carpentry school at 19, leaving a successful stint at a Toyota dealership as a salesman (I competed in FBLA at the National level). A year into carpentry school, I broke my hand in 2 places while demoing a house, having a pin put through my 5th metacarpal. Still determined not to let it hold my fitness journey back, I kept lifting and keeping myself in shape despite my injuries. This was January 20, 2016. Shortly after, I was contacted to do a solo shoot for GH/HGF after doing some fitness modeling and flew out March 6, 2016 and never looked back!
