I don't think there were any rumors about Richard prior to Brandon because I was poking around for rumors late last fall and the only thing I could find was that blind item about the GoT actor getting BJs in the mens' room.

And what caused me to start poking around was his Instagram account.

I've been a fan of Richard since his GoT days, but I never really paid much attention to him off of the show. Saw him in a couple of other movies and TV shows, but again, didn't pay much attention to him beyond the roles he played. It wasn't until I watched Bodyguard late last year that I realized he was a damned good actor and not just a pretty face, so that's when I started googling him and trying to find out more about him. I (Because I was crushing on him pretty hard.)

Being a nosy creeper, I went through his Instagram follows and was surprised to see that he followed an awful lot of hot young gay guys. (I can't ascertain they were all gay, but they were certainly thirst traps -- guys in model poses, shirtless, with bedroom eyes, etc.) I thought that was rather ... odd ... but most of those guys seemed to be actors and models, and Richard is in the business, so I figured he probably was friends with them or had worked with them.

But I had read that he had a girlfriend, and had dated several other high-profile women in the past, so I sort of dismissed any ideas that were formulating in my head. Well ... dismissed them AFTER I dug for gossip and couldn't find anything. :-/

I’m 10 minutes into the Variety special which is GREAT thus far. The level of mutual respect between these two are so prevelant. I can’t believe it took Richard two months to shed David Budd - I totally understand it because it’s such a tough role, but wow....
