American Ninja Warrior - are any of them out?

There was a cute twink on tonight who set off my gaydar. Unfortunately, he was from a Xtian family so if he's gay, he's deeeeeeeeeeep in the closet. Then there were the two guys who call themselves "Fire and Ice." Total bromos.

I think it's because of the bro audience, they don't want to offend them.

I used to love this show but I got tired of them peddling the same contestants year after year as if they are curing cancer like Drew Drechsel and Brent Steffensen. And the woe-is-me stories are nauseating. And no out contestants.

All right, who's watching this season and who's gay?

I admit to enjoying this when I catch it. The suspense gets my adrenaline cranking. Unlike R2, I enjoy the biographies, and find many of them to be quite inspiring.

I watch when there's nothing else on. The "catholic ninja" or whatever the hell they call him pings off the chart.

As for the lack of gays. Most of the ANW athletes are parkour people, or professional rock climbers. I've never heard of any gays who are interested in either of those things.

There was on lesbian contestant who mention a partner. The partner was never shown. I don't think this woman made it past the qualifying round.

A lot of contestants come from very rural/religious backgrounds and it's always a surprise when the more "flamboyant" ones tend to have girlfriends or wives.

The (former?) flight attendant doesn't seem entirely straight to me even though they've shown his girlfriend(s) watching. Usually, they show his family and even then I get that whole "I'm proud of my dead gay son" vibe from them. (Heathers reference.) And he seemed to have a "bromance" with a very queeny athlete from somewhere deplorable. But even that guy had a wife/girlfriend.

They have a lot of military types on that show. Honestly, I think the first openly gay type will probably have a military background.

Yesssss Grant McCartney (former flight attendant) pings big time to me too. He reminds me of a guy I used to date. All of the cake-loving ninjas seem gay to me, as do many other contestants this season. Would be nice if a high profile ninja was out.

Joe The Weatherman is a pro-gun conservative. Brent is a Trumpster who also believes COVID is not that serious. Drew is a pedophile. NBC has wasted hours and hours promoting this human garbage and placating the bro crowd and conservative viewers. Fuck them.

I used to like this show but tired of the promotion of some of these losers.
