I think she was trying for the 'trim the management fat' implication in Ford's 'finding efficiences' phrase. IIRC, Douglas and the socialists of the time used to criticize white collar workers who exploited the labour below them.

Total bullshit, of course, but I think that's what she was trying to do.

Michael Cooper, an Alberta version of Rick Santorum, was finally given a mild reprimand by Scheer yesterday, but he still has his Justice Critic position in the Conservative Party.

I hope the Liberals use Michael Cooper and Scheer's wrist slap of him as a prime example in their campaign of how the Conservatives are just an inch away from Trump and his "good people on both sides" world.

Also, didn't the Conservatives reject a special investigation into murdered indigenous women?? So Andrew Scheer's statement saying, "Conservatives will carefully review the details of the MMIWG final report and continue to hold the Trudeau government to account..." sounds like hypocrisy on steroids.

Awful as she is, she won't be the worst example as long as Candice Bergen (not the one you're thinking of) draws breath.
