He really is trying to wreck the economy isn't he? That said, something has to be done and Mexico should be stopping these people at their southern border.

Well that's one way to try to change the subject.
Governing by temper tantrum is working so well for them, don't you think?
by Anonymous | reply 3 | May 31, 2019 1:20 AM |
It's the responsibility of each country first and foremost to deal with the INCOMING migration. Of course no one gives a shit who leaves their country, unless they're feeling from a warrant or something like that. This is not a new concept, people.

Puerto Ricans are American citizens.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | May 31, 2019 1:33 AM |
That makes no sense. They don’t even speak English!
by Anonymous | reply 7 | May 31, 2019 1:34 AM |
... and, still, no one has managed to explain to him that American consumers are the ones who ultimately pay tariffs?
Right-o.

If only we could send dumb people somewhere!

I eat shit.

Save some for R5 too, R10.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | May 31, 2019 1:41 AM |
R8 He knows Americans will pay for it, he also knows that the dumb fucks who elected him don't understand basic economics.

We need a Democratic Senate to take away this privilege, of changing tariffs, from POTUS. Ditto for changing agreements such as with Iran, the Paris climate accord, NAFTA, and the TPP. He’s just too stupid to have that much power.

Yes! They need to face responsibility to be perceived as legitimate when US & Canada eventually join forces as a self reliant trio of the N American continent. It's the kick in the ass they need. North America needs to take a little "me" time for herself relieving us of world chaos. Gonna be some vacation and retreat. Between our 3 nations we provide all one really needs. A wonderful era. A belle epoque. Look for it.

Trump is leveraging our consumer buying power. The power of the people. We really do call the shots.

R5 Karen Walker talk with Rosario flashback. Believe the correct term is Guadamexico😅

“With great power comes great responsibly.”
Not only is it an asshole act to bully other countries, doing so invites smaller countries to defend themselves. When North Korea or Iran releases computer viruses that do more damage than 10 atomic bombs, we should fly Deplorables over and drop them out of the planes.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | May 31, 2019 1:54 AM |
Why doesn't he just build a wall? Oh right!

Not a bully. Refusing to be played, used & abused. No doormat. We need a respite from this world. Basically we'll be working from home. Towards home.

It is a bad situation but bullying with trade is not the way to handle it.

We should also get them to enact laws about incorrect use of commas.

R21 where does this 1000 in one day story come from?

You really think any computer virus would be the equivalent of approximately 1.5-2 million people dead? Talk about hyperbole.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | May 31, 2019 2:03 AM |
R25 It comes from NBC News. Look it up, there are multiple news sources confirming it.

[quote] If Bill Clinton hadn’t signed NAFTA so that the CEOs of America didn’t move manufacturing to other countries, we wouldn’t have this issue. Same with China. At least Trump is trying to get our power back.
This resulted in low inflation and plentiful consumer goods. Would you be willing to wear patched clothes, and hand-me-downs? Do you even know what the last term, HMDs, means? I grew up wearing such clothes. We’d have little A/C, no apple devices, meatless dinners. Etc.
I recall hearing at the time that NAFTA was agreed upon that the global economy was the wave of the future, and inevitable. I wasn’t sure about it at the time, but I trust the Dems.
And it was overwhelmingly approved by Congress.

Yes. When they turn the power plants off in New England in January, you could have far more than doubled your number dead, R26.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | May 31, 2019 2:12 AM |
Yeah, cause the power plants aren’t prepared and ONLY run on computers. And the millions of people in New England would just die because they forgot how to make fire.
🙄

Yes. When the Russians, Chinese, and others coordinate the sale of massive amounts of American bonds, and North Korea pours counterfeit US banknotes into the financial system at the same time, we will be financially destroyed.

Pandering and destructive
