I remember reading one of Savage's books or perhaps it was in his column that Terry wanted to be low profile (this would have been 15 or 20 years ago, if not more). What happened in the interim? I've seen them both in gay bars in Portland (especially Stag PDX, where I've seen them twice). Dan is actually someone whom I would turn around and look twice at--he dresses simply (usually just a tight t-shirt and jeans), has a great carriage, and carries a lot of confidence and swagger in his walk. I actually really like Dan, I listen to his SavageLove podcast every week and I usually agree with the advice he gives.
