Well, I have nothing against porn stars - they are generally hot and provide a service that the majority of us USE yet would never provide (and let's face it - most of us would not qualify looks-wise to provide it if we wanted to..). Back to Patrick - I think that "talented" is a stretch from an acting perspective although I understand that he was quite the dancer (not an arena that I would know anything about). Nice guy? No idea. Whatever the case, cancer sucks and we can all agree that dying before old age is a shame. He had quite a career for a so-so at best actor with looks that were polarizing to say the least.

He was hugely popular for awhile and his acting was above average.

The thing you have to ask yourself is whose name is in the headline? And would his name be in a haedline if he didn't make the claims about Swayze? It could be true, but I'm more inclined to believe its bullshit.

I lived across the street from Patrick Swayze's mom in NYC...... in the 80's. Well the year was the 80's we actually lived in the 60's on the Upper East Side.

I found it odd when I read he didn't have kids. However, there is a woman who claims he fathered their love child. She came to this conclusion when the kid matured and was the spitting image of Swayze. Can't find the link.

This isn't a first when it comes to Swayze and gay rumors. There were plenty going around when he was still immensely popular (Ghost era). R14 nailed it with the no kids thing. While it is far more common these days, it was almost unheard of to not have children if you were a young, attractive, straight couple back in the day; if you were barren or your man was shooting blanks, you adopted or bought a child (the Swayze's were not hurting for money). He married his wife Lisa in 1975. This was always considered strange to most of the world and looked like a sham marriage to many.

I wonder if he and Tony Goldwyn got it on during the filming of Ghost.
