It's on YouTube streaming for $4.99 and DVD other places. Unfortunately the movie isn't streaming anywhere else as far as I know

This reminds me of a Japanese manga and TV drama called Zettai Kareshi (Absolute Boyfriend) about a young woman picked by a secret company that builds androids by request; in this case, the perfect boyfriend where this woman decides all the ideal qualities in a boyfriend. Perhaps, this was influenced by this manga.

LIke so many others, Strait has a god-like upper body but seems to neglect his ass, which looks like a little boy's tooshie. And that shaving scene got me harder than the kissing - why don't we get more scenes of men shaving each other? It's just about the most erotic thing you can put on the screen, in my opinion.

Yeah, considering how muscular Strait is, it's surprising his ass isn't bigger & more defined.

But it's still a nice body.

There are some corny moments in the film, but it has some interesting things to say about relationships, and Steven Strait plays a different kind of role than usual.

Josh Janowicz, the director/writer, is also interviewed and he pings to me. He was married to Emilie de Ravin for a few years when he was younger, but I wonder if he's gay/bi? It would explain the male nudity and ass shots of Steven & Drew.

Or you could simply watch this and spare yourself the tedium of the long movie

I find it amusing that a lot of these young actors....mid 30s to 40s...get married for 1-5 years and then remain single. Example...Steven Strait married a woman 10 years older and was divorced within 5 years only to remain single...she immediately remarried and had a kid. I cant decide if most of them are gay or bi and their marriages are fabricated. I think he pings...but not in an obvious way.

Yes, it's a little surprising that a guy of his generation would get married at only 21 years old to an older woman. It sounds like he met her when he was a teenager in high school. And as you said, after they got divorced she got remarried to another guy and had a kid.

As mentioned above, what's notable about the direction of the movie is how much emphasis there is on the male bodies. Lots and lots of naked ass shots of Steven Strait and Drew Van Acker. Only a couple of shots of female nudity.

The director obviously liked getting these 2 hot actors to take their clothes off -- lucky for us!

Why would the owner act embarrassed to be found naked by his (putatively) robot servant? Men, especially men with bodies like that, don't get embarrassed when their real human valets see them naked. They're there to dress them and so on, after all.

R47, Drew Van Acker's character is a modern young guy, and probably not used to being naked around other guys, particularly a robot.

I had never seen Drew Van Acker before this thread, but he is freakin' GORGEOUS.

Drew is in the second season of DC's Titans as Aqualad. I know him from Pretty Little Liars, Devious Maids and a kid's mystery show, Tower Prep, that was sadly canceled after its first season.

Steven Strait has always been one of the most beautiful actors out there, but he's never really had a huge break. He's been around forever though... since at least 2005. I remember him in that Disney movie Sky High with Michael Angarano and Nicholas Braun, who are actually having great careers right now. It's cool though that Strait's still working, because DL's kindly posting shirtless pictures of him every once in a while, including this one! I hadn't heard of this at all, but that kiss is fucking hot. Never thought he'd do gay stuff, so I'm happy to see it! The scene is so nicely lit too.

He's also aging incredibly. He might look better now than ever.

Strait has a pretty prominent gig on The Expanse (next season will be on Amazon Prime and not on SyFy).

While I enjoy all of these lovely gifs, the picture I’m getting is that there’s a bunch of touching and teasing and a kiss but no actual sex scene. That’s a bummer. They should’ve been in between the sheets getting their fuck on. After I learned of these nude scenes, I went ahead and skimmed through this movie (I'm shallow like that) and that "gay" scene, while hot af, came the fuck out of nowhere and went in that same direction. Maybe I missed something but I don't think it's even mentioned again. Like, *SPOILERS?* there's a part where Drew Van Acker's character get all pissed at this wife for almost cheating with the "man-bot" even though he 100% does cheat with it.

The film is all over the place. The director clearly wanted the film to explore the dynamic between the husband and the robot, but it seems like that angle gets dropped altogether after they sleep together. What could have elevated the film is completely ignored and the film falls apart.

Like a lot of film & art it is flawed, but at least it tries to do something interesting. It's not a totally successful experiment, but it's nice to see 2 young, handsome actors willing to get naked & make out.

And it's obvious the director was taken with Drew & Steven since he put in as many ass shots as he could. 🍑

Make sure you take a look at both the bathroom scenes -- there's more than one between Drew & Steven.

And there are a few other interesting scenes such as the one where Drew & his wife are in the garden & they have a discussion with Steven about the meaning of lust.

There's also a scene where Steven & Drew play tennis together and one where Drew gets angry with Steven and punches him.

1) I am shocked this movie had a thread here with 120 replies

2) Its a nice guilty pleasure, keeps you entertained for 90 minutes and shows off Steven Strait and Drew Van Acker's bodies.

3) It's a nice twist for a non-gay movie that the hunky "robot" sleeps with the husband and not the wife. Interesting that it wasn't done as that means he is secretly gay, just that it happened.

Not perfect, but an enjoyable way to knock out a couple hours.
