Ian Ziering insisted that his first name be pronounced as "Aye-an" rather than "Ee-an" because of course in the NE American dialect where he was raised, the girls' name 'Ann(e)' was pronounced exactly like 'Ian', so the 'aye-an' pronunciation is a hypercorrection to eliminate any (gender) ambiguity. Which I guess is understandable under the circumstances: Ian's micropenis was well known and accepted amongst the cast and producers, and it was kind of a diversity thing to brag about to the higher-ups, that they had someone with micropenis in their on-camera talent.

Hmm it was ok. I liked Paige but the show went on for too long.

The show was more on par with Buffy the Vampire Slayer when she was there. It attempted to do low budget horror with occasional funny moments. It at least tried to take itself seriously.

Once she was gone the show went into full on camp / soap opera mode and stayed there.

I did, however, like Paige.

R43 Most sci-fi shows on the WB at the time tried to be as good as Buffy. In some cases (Roswell) it just didn't work. And i think Shannen was supposed to guest star on Buffy at some point.
