I think the same about Ryan Reynolds. He'd not look good with light eyes.

Blue eyes are more susceptible bto macular degeneration.

I'm blue eyed and fsir skinned. I would rather more natural melanin, since the skin ages better in general. Likewise, brown eyes for the same reason were I to have the choice.

Don't know about eye health and hazel or green eyes, I just recall learning about Macular health and eyecare in ageing last time I visited the Optometrist to test my prescription.

I can't understand why people make such a big deal about blue eyes. Very few are strikingly beautiful, most are too dark blue, so might as well be brown, or too light and look alien, and not in a good way. The few who have beautiful blue eyes are truly striking though. Same with green. The dark green, or olive green ones are blah. But the bright light translucent green eyes are gorgeous.

Another thing is, light eyes usually fade and get greyish with poor health or age. I have a great aunt who I met when she was in her 70s. The first time I laid eyes on her, I was dumbstruck by how bright and blue her eyes were. Even in a young woman they would have been very striking, but in an old one, they were amazing and surprising. My mom had green eyes that faded to grey with poor health, but when she cried, they became bright light emerald green.
