Is it this week Rocketman has its Cannes premiere? We'll see him soon enough. For now whether he's in Cannes already, or somewhere else, or just hanging at home in LA lying low, I think it's great they're able to have some quiet private time. He'll have a busy enough time coming up with plenty of pictures being taken of him soon enough.

R25 Last time they were apart (RM in NY) Brandon was very active on social, went to things with friends, a concert, that charity event, etc. If they are apart or split up even, I would think that would be the case as well. They have both been lying low for the same amount of time, so that leads me to think they are somewhere together. I could be wrong, obviously we don’t really know, but that’s very coincidental, as I said. If someone has a better idea of why they would both be quiet on social at the same time and no photos out and about from either man if RM has split, feel free to speculate.

Richard had the head start because of Bodyguard, but once the film is released, Taron's going to be in everyone's faces even more than he already has been. Richard's getting more attention on DL, but Taron is getting covers on industry mags for this role and appearing with Elton in clips. In the end, I think it'll even out between the two (with Jamie getting some attention, too, since, unlike Richard, his character doesn't appear to be a manipulative bastard in the film).

Doubt it. The amount of photoshoots, appearances, and events for this film are way beyond anything Taron has experienced before (and plenty of them he's doing on his own, not with Richard or Jamie). I think he's scrambling just to keep up with all the chaos, and wouldn't have reason to be jealous of Richard for this.

Luke evans' current career is OK, but totally not impressive. He doesn't play lead roles in mainstream films. It's only drama series or second roles in movies. I thought he would do better but at the moment he's invisible.

Where have you heard about bad previews for Rocketman? And I doubt that even if Rocketman bombs it would affect Richard's Emmy nom. He's everywhere promoting it right now and schmoozing Emmy voters at the huge amount of Bodyguard screenings and panels. You get nominated at the Emmys if the voters like you personally and if your show is popular. It's not so much about your acting talent (because there would be a lot of actors who showed better and much more nuanced performances than Richard this year. Only that their shows don't have so much buzz). It's all about visibility and that the voters are familiar with your show and like you. And being a former GOT actor also helps a ton.

He’s trying to walk the line between trying to be SUPER gay friendly because of the backlash to his casting but also wanting to still be seen as straight because, Hollywood. I also think he’s probably very mindful that his last movie Robin Hood was a box office disaster- one of the biggest bombs of the year, I think.
