Fat transfer looks a lot more natural. Implants aren't even done by a lot of surgeons. If your body fat is too low, then you can't get a fat transfer - so I guess these guys couldn't do it.

Butt implants are the riskiest plastic surgery that you can have. Most surgeons won't do it because of all the complications. The implants shift easily since you're constantly sitting on them, and they can be quite painful.

I knew a guy who had them installed, maybe 10 years ago. Unfortunately, he'd been unrealistically convinced that his ass was too flat, though it had looked perfectly normal beforehand. He later admitted that if he'd known how much it would've hurt he never would have done it. He could not take a dump without agony for weeks on end.

While I suppose they made his ass more impressive in jeans, he admitted that he felt extremely uncomfortable letting anyone touch his ass during sex.

Of the patients that I have known first hand who elected to have cosmetic surgery, the ones who look the best (no matter the procedure) are the ones who actually "needed" it (at least in their own mind), were physically deficient (completely flat breasts or ass) and were careful to make sure that the outcome looked "normal" verses something exaggerated. I have known only men who purchased butt implants over the years. Only two of them ever discussed the surgery with me as many prefer not to draw attention to their cosmetic procedures. One guy had implants that were very subtle, inserted under the muscle (as a poster mentioned above) and the implants that he chose were quite small. He never complains of any issues although the recovery was no fun (it seems that everyone agrees on this). While you would never oh and ah over his ass - it looks firm and shapely and he basically looks like everyone else who has a small, tight butt. Another friend bought huge implants (that look rather obvious to me) and he has experienced quite a few issues from day one. The implants have moved around and cause a large degree of discomfort on what is likely a daily basis. He experienced a lot of scar tissue as the years passed and he seems to always have some degree of discomfort while sitting for extended periods or even when sleeping. While we really don't anatomically sit on our buttcheeks (if you really look at someone, the buttocks are mostly located slightly higher than the part of your legs that you mostly sit on), when one decides to huge implants put in - your skin is so stretched that you never sit quite right again. He describes it as a "tightness" that pulls on his back and legs and makes it difficult to even bend over. I would agree that it is likely one of the more problematic implants to have put in - particularly if you want something really exaggerated. On a side note, you will have scars either in the fold of skin where your butt meets your leg or in some cases right around your anus. Neither are fun - both are painful for a million different activities of daily living and some might not heal all that well and end up looking unsightly.
