What a jackass. All he had to do was file for divorce. Yes, he'd have to pay alimony and child support, and Shannan would probably had talked bad about him to his kids and her social media network. But he'd have his freedom, living with his new girlfriend, still getting to be a dad on weekends. The fallout would have been a shock to his family, friends, and coworkers at first (his mom would have been delighted, actually), but not nearly as bad as this past year has been. Now he has nothing.
