Richard Chamberlain

He was the prettiest famous gay ever. Still pictures don't really do him justice. I saw Dr. Kildare for the first time on one of those nostalgia channels this week. He's absolutely beautiful. Why doesn't he get talked about here more? Was he just that boring? It is funny though watching all the young nurses drool over him on the show.

He must have pulled the finest cock.

For me, it was all about Father de Bricassart

He was also really lovely in the Shogun miniseries.

Handsomest Cinderella’s prince ever.

by Anonymousreply 7May 10, 2019 2:43 AM

After a certain age, his face creeped me out, though the body stayed fit and lithe.

by Anonymousreply 8May 10, 2019 2:44 AM

I agree that after a certain age he looked odd. I think that was more of the style of the times when he became a certain age. He went for kind of the older hippy guru look and should have stayed in a suit. When he was on The Thorn Birds and in the priest outfit the older creepy look went away and he looked ten years younger.

His face isn't really my cup of tea but I like his body.

He literally looked like like a mannequin. His bone structure was too perfect.

by Anonymousreply 15May 10, 2019 2:53 AM

From bashing Hillary in random threads to praising Richard Chamberlain. You have all the range, don't you, OP?

by Anonymousreply 16May 10, 2019 11:37 AM

No idea who he is, but I have to say that he is not good looking. He has a horse face and his chin is way too long, with a five head.

LOL Datalounge stalkers. They're so bizarre.

by Anonymousreply 18May 10, 2019 11:59 AM

I and all my female relatives knew Chamberlain was gayer than a box of Christmas bows before "The Thorn Birds". The swoonage factor went through the roof during his and Rachel Ward's bed scenes.

Supposedly RC had a relationship with 'Land of the Lost' teen star Wesley Eure in the 70s, but then dumped him. What were the details for that scene?

by Anonymousreply 20May 10, 2019 12:22 PM

Queen Richard had a hot love scene with Jaclyn Smith in the original Bourne Identity miniseries.

The Sherman Brothers owed us after that whole album of Anita Bryant songs they wrote.
