i thought she was stunning at the height of her fame in the early 80s. Still looks great.

Love Francis. She seems like a nice person. She's been treated like absolute shit by General Hospital and for some reason she keeps going back. But she is a soap legend so her fans will defend her.

That early 80s frizzy perm Tony Geary sported didn’t look good on anyone, especially someone with a receding hairline. Richard Simmons was on that show at the time and had the same hair. Anyhow Geary always skeeved me out because I remember an interview where he said if he was supposed to be nude in bed with an actress in a scene on the show he’d really be nude, no shorts, even though they only filmed him from the shoulders up. I suppose he was being a method actor but it seemed pervy to me even as a teen.

I have always liked Genie Francis; she does seem like a sweet lady.

I watched GH in the early 1980s, and seeing her now reminds me of seeing an old high school classmate. I watched her when she was on Y&R. I think her character had potential to be a really good bad girl.

I love her. She was a beautiful 18 year old (like another poster, I watched her when I was 13-15, and feel like I grew up with her) during the height of Luke and Laura mania.

Days has reintroduced her Diana Colville character, but Judith Chapman plays the role. Love Judith, but would've been happy to see Genie back.

And she's married to Commander Riker.

She looks good for 76, 56, not so much.

Jeezus, R10, I remember that same interview. I feel like it was a little bit after the Luke and Laura craze, because there was either a quote from Emma Samms or else I thought to myself: I wonder what Emma Samms thought during their bed scenes.

My sisters watched in junior high/high school' which would have been around '79, and I have some vague memories of the Lassa Fever storylines, but stronger memories the summer of '80 when L&L were on the run. Crazy to think she was only 18. By that age, Laura had already shot her mother's boyfriend, got married, was raped, fell in love with her rapist, and left her husband to go on the run from the mob with her rapist boyfriend. Very accomplished for a high schooler.

I think she looks great. Haven't watched in years, what's her storyline?

I had it on while visiting my parents house a while ago, my mom saw her and was shocked at how old she looked. She looks a lot like my youngest sister, more so 30 years ago, I guess.
