It honestly makes me realize how pathetic CK is. How sad that a man dedicates his life to making money - at the sacrifice of his self-esteem and real relationships. Not only closeted but marries a woman to hide. Never had a real relationship. And is so emotionally immature in his 60s that he thinks he found a real relationship with a 20-something hustler.
I know a lot of older gay and straight men who spent their lives pursuing an American Dream of money, marriage, house, superficial glamor and power - and then are so desperately lonely and lacking in meaningful relationships in their 60s that they think a young pretty thing who gives them attention actually loves them. They have no idea what it means to love or be loved. Be grateful for a simple life focused on relationships and love.
