A "so bad it's almost fun" show. First season was filmed in Grand Turk island but I guess the budget grew a smidgen so the remaining seasons were filmed in Hawaii.

They should do a reboot with a bunch of CW actors.

Dante's Cove: a shitty masterpiece. Acting is camp. Guys were hot. Lesbian scenes were...surprising.

Dante's Cove exemplified the high hopes of 'gay media' finding its place on cable TV. Too bad they only hired the most mediocre of writers, actors, directors, set designer, gaffers....

R12 hit the nail on the head! It was just awful, but nonetheless fun to watch. Between the eye candy, how everyone was always perfectly misted, the absurd plot lines, and the presence of Tracy Scoggins. Pure camp!

The acting was nearly unbearable and the writing was beyond cheesey but as others have mentioned previously there were hot guys doing full frontals and the sex scenes were surprising. It was definitely a guilty pleasure. I remember the first episode where the guy was getting fucked by his butler and I was stunned - the butler had a huge dick. It would be great if they did a re-boot. I’m sure Tracy Scoogins is available to play the young ingenue again (lol).
