I didn't know Alex had recanted and apologized for his original questioning of Sandy Hook, but he did, and in this podcast, says that he's now getting a taste of his own medicine by people who once followed him.

Having attracted many crazies among his listeners, Alex receives death threats from former listeners who now think HE is a player in these conspiracies because of his recanting of his original Sandy Hook denial. Having a large following of schizophrenics has its downsides.

He also talks about his own period of derangement, which some might argue persists. Alex is on the "I believe Sandy Hook was real!" tour. It's an interesting conversation if you don't mind Alex's gravelly wrestler voice and are not easily triggered.

(If you listen, the worm they briefly refer to is "Toxoplasma gondii," which causes toxoplasmosis. It is heavily researched and is known to have specific unusual, life-long psychological effects on its victims.)

I'm not from the US and only know him from his podcast. I don't think he's a bad interviewer; he did an interview with Megan Phelps-Roper that ran over 2.5 hours and was interesting all the way through. In fact, there are not that many people that can carry on interviews with anyone at that length of time, but he does, and it's often worth it. His non-political, health-and-nutrition-oriented shows, where he invites nutritionists, scientists. etc. can be interesting.
