Argentines (and Uruguayans) are mostly Italian + Spanish. It's usually a very hot combination. Very few have any Amerindian roots because Argentina genocided all of its natives back in the 19th century, although there are a lot of recent arrivals from Peru, Paraguay and Bolivia who are mostly Amerindian.

Argentina is in perpetual state of economic crisis, so I imagine that's the reason people in Buenos Aires are not very happy, the city has a very depressing vibe. The men usually have long straight hair, often beard (not always), tend to be a little on the shorter side (5'7-5'8), they're also hairy. Majority brunettes (not many blondes), green eyes are more common than blue eyes.

Chile is the most developed country in South America, even more than Argentina and Uruguay. They have the better economy too. Too bad they're not as gay friendly as Argentina or Uruguay, but there has been (and continues to be) progress there too.

A shipmate of mine was married to an Portena and they ended up getting divorced because of her big flippant mouth and his hair trigger temper. She really didn’t have a filter. Her best friend was from her old Buenos Aires neighborhood - a complete queen. And she had no problem telling us about the several surgeries he had to tighten up his hole after too much anal. And he had no problem telling us about her sexual escapades, including marrying her wealthy pimp when she was 17 and he was 48. Behind each other’s back of course. Her mother would call at all hours-she remarried an Uruguayan man who raised some of the most obnoxious children ever. I met one of his daughters at Christmas and I ended up cursing her out for making nasty comments about my mother...she was going by what my friend and his wife said about her (my mother hated them both after meeting them while visiting me on vacation). I made her cry. She took her frustrations out on her Arab boyfriend, who promptly blacked her eye. The whole family was fucking nuts and apparently this is par for the course down there.
