Dan Bell’s videos are great. You really feel like you’re there with him. I’ve done a little urbex in my day - my favorite ever was the “original dead mall” - the notoriously decrepit Dixie Square Mall outside Chicago (look it up on YouTube). It was in a horrible neighborhood. It was the mall used in the Blues Brothers movie during the car chase scene, though at the time the movie was filmed, the mall has already closed down. They dressed it up to look real, but in reality the mall has closed a year prior in 1979. It was like being in an underwater ruin. Most places you couldn’t even tell it used to be a mall, but suddenly you’d see some small reminder - a shocking orange and black patterned carpet almost completely covered in moss with just some colors poking through. Or rotten shelves with ancient post-it labels displaying shoe sizes. Just a really fascinating place. There’s great videos of it on YouTube. It was finally demolished a few years back.

Check out the first season of Another Dirty Room. Dan and his crew investigate wretched hotel rooms. It's horrifying and hilarious. The second season is crap because of Will's departure and Rick's embarrassing antics. Not even the new twink makes up for it.

OP - thanks for posting about these videos. Fascinating, creepy and well filmed. I can see how I’ll be spending a lot of time across the weekend.

Also, One of my hobbies is building environments in virtual worlds and they are great reference material.

Not done a lot of it myself but visited some locations in the UK some years ago. Old tunnels under London. A couple of old hospital buildings. Inside a Neolithic burial mound at night. The atmosphere there was very odd. Or maybe it was just me.

Basically, either my imagination is too wild or I’m just a wimp but I was way too creeped out.

I watched many of these videos on YouTube which they go to abandon buildings. There is one I watch with a young husband and wife team who seem really sweet. They go into abandon mansions and sometimes there is some interesting stories behind the mansions. One of the mansions that was abandon was once owned by a very wealthy drug dealer in the 80's. The mansion had been abandon ,and it was very interesting. Also, beautiful ENORMOUS mansions from the Gilded Age that are now just blank empty shells. its sad in a way because some of these much older mansions should be museums, hotels or something. They need a rejuvenation of life streaming back into their interiors.

There is also another guy who goes into abandon homes that are stuffed to the hilt with antiques ,and I don't understand why he doesn't take anything. The things he comes across are gorgeous! at least 150 years old maybe more. If that were me, it would be so hard not to take anything.

I had to stop watching these videos because for some reason I get a bad headache and sick to my stomach from all the movement of the camera. My doctor has no idea why get sick by the movement from these videos. I pisses me off because I love to watch them. You can get addicted to them.

r34 This is one minor, gross guy in the grand scheme of the subject. Urbex is all over the internet--it's really interesting to see it in other countries. I find the Scandinavian sites interesting because I never associate that kind of decay with rich countries like Sweden and Norway.

I've watched quite a few of this guy's videos. I love this kind of stuff--places stuck in time. Sometimes there is incredibly architecture and art to these places that have been left to rot. In this video, they explore an amazing abandoned school. There are a few different people with him in it, but his friend Brian who appears at the 3:40 mark is CUTE as fuck.

I lose interest if someone is not attractive so this guys videos lost me quick.

I've seen a few urban exploration but this was the first. Some highlights include sneaking into an abandoned subway stop, and climbing the Williamsburg Bridge at night, and talking with homeless who live in these forgotten places.

NYC folks should enjoy this one.

Exploring a creepy run down motel.

I figured Dan Bell was gay so not surprised. I liked his dead mall series but i guess he's run out of dead malls in his part of the country. The Canadian twink has a tight body it was smart of them to have him take his cloths off.

I wonder what people think when they see two fat guys and a twink carrying cameras check into a pay by the hour motel ?

Dan has a good channel and I like most of his video series. the Dead Mall series is a lot of fun, and I recently started watching Another Dirty Room. The Canadian twink they have for the second season named Brennen is adorable and has a killer body that he shows off in almost every episode.

Brennen is indeed adorable, R48. He is also a goofball and seems like a fun-loving person on all of the "Another Dirty Room" episodes. There are dozens of comments on all of those videos joking about how the motel staff must think they're filming a gay porno in the room. I'm not convinced that any of them are gay though aside from Dan, who seems patently gay to me. Rick, the ogrous one in the photo here with Brennen, doesn't really ping to me (nor does Brennen for that matter). In any event, it's an entertaining YouTube series and fun to watch, plus Brennen brings welcome eye candy to the proceedings.

Dan should dump that drunken fattie Rick and get himself another twink.

Dan just posted a new Dead Mall Series video the other day from Baltimore—it's pretty cool. Also R50, Dan and Rick are not a couple; Rick lives in Florida and has a wife. I follow Dan on Instagram and he's said in a few live videos that he has a fiancé who lives in Ecuador; he is apparently trying to move there, but was unable to travel because of the virus outbreak. He was previously married to another man in Baltimore who apparently still helps him with his business affairs, but I don't believe he's ever been on camera.

r27 Will is not gay but the new girlfriend apparently is a stalker and has caused a rift in Dan and Wills friendship. He also met her as a fan of the show and that was against a rule (or more likely just Dan's personal ethics). Will is definitely gay and came out on twitter a few years ago....

I think Dan had a crush on Will and was butthurt that he found a girlfriend.
