Black Twitter Slams New Black Barbie Doll For Her ‘Embarrassing’ Cornrows And ‘Ratchet’ Blonde Weave
Mattel has been mercilessly dragged on social media after debuting the new doll. The controversial new Barbie made her debut on the doll’s official Instagram account earlier this month. Black Barbie is featured in an image alongside two white dolls.
But Black Twitter was up in arms after the picture was posted. People were outraged when they saw Black Barbie’s hairstyle and they flooded the comments section. ‘Who in the HELL did black Barbie’s hair like this? Does anyone black work there?’ one woman asked while another joked, ‘Why is the Barbie for sale without her WEAVE DONE?!’

In this political climate, I wouldn’t be surprised if Mattel was especially careful with designing this doll and had only African American doll designers working on it and African American executives giving the “final approval” before the doll went into production—not only to not offend anyone in the AA community, but to protect themselves against any potential claims of “racism” with this doll in any way when it was released.
I have a hard time believing that a major company would release an ethnic doll of any kind on a whim and without a lot of cooperation with members of that particular ethnic group—especially in this day and age where everybody and everything seems to be called “racist” at lest once on Twitter....
If this doll was created and approved by African American designers at the company, can people still be upset and “outraged” about it?

Another brand completely ruined by bowing to SJW activism. It's been going on for a while (can't discount the black Barbies that obviously don't sell as well as the standard Barbie because that's racist or something). Caving in to make Fat Barbie was just the final nail in the coffin.
Barbie is a global brand, easily recognizable, and no matter how much they try to diversify the line with a million different races/body types/hair styles (even a frauey blue haired fat hipster ones) people will just bitch and bitch and bitch until the end of time. They need to keep branching out into their media lines; Toy Story 3 Barbie/Ken was a huge boon for them, and the Life in the Dreamhouse line did well.
Anyway, I think the Barbie's hair is cool and different (outfit is trashbag ugly though) but again these activist types will never be satisfied.

Chicago Police Department (CPD) has photos of the Os*ndairo brothers driving in a car with ‘Empire’ star J*ssie Sm*llett in the days leading up to the hoax hate crime.
The rank and file members of the Chicago Police Department are furious that Cook County state’s attorney Kim F*xx intervened to drop sixteen felony counts against Sm*llett and as more evidence, such as these photographs, continue to surface, it becomes even harder to understand Kim F*xx’s decision.
The files containing the photos were first released by the Chicago area blog CWB Chicago and reviewed by The Daily Caller.

R83 Diahann's doll looked like all the other dolls because (typically, predictably) Mattel went the cheap route and use the already existing "Christie" head mold to create the "Julia" doll.
And the beautiful "Christie" head is simply an Africanized sculpt of the original 1950s issue Barbie sculpt, right down to the pronounced, sculpted eyelids.
She also said at one point that she remembers Mattel designers taking pictures and measurements of her face for the doll sculpt, so it isn't surprising that she'd complain about getting the "Christie" head with a new paint deco.
It could've been worse; you should see what Mattel did to Twiggy under the same circumstances. Yikes.
