To those of you who trashed Rachel Maddow and MSNBC on their coverage of the Mueller Investigation

Can you now all just eat shit and die a slow and painful death from cancer?

by Anonymousreply 72April 20, 2019 12:51 AM

Why?

by Anonymousreply 1April 18, 2019 9:26 PM

Sure. If Rachel admits her virtue signal handling of Jussie Smollett was dishonest journalism.

by Anonymousreply 2April 18, 2019 9:28 PM

OP, I’m watching MSNBC and I what I hear will not be useful at Easter with my Deplorable relatives. I long planed on asking them to avoid politics, but then my sister in law will yell “awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww” and I hate that. I just wish there was something that would keep them off the subject completely.

by Anonymousreply 3April 18, 2019 9:35 PM

Did I miss something? Did she redeem herself?

by Anonymousreply 4April 18, 2019 9:40 PM

Rachel Maddow is a lesbian who deserves to be abused. She is also dumb. I hate her.

by Anonymousreply 5April 18, 2019 9:48 PM

From the NYT article:

"While the report does not find that the president or his campaign aides had committed any crimes in their contacts with Russians, it lays bare how Mr. Trump was elected with the help of a foreign power."

Still reading the report.

by Anonymousreply 6April 18, 2019 9:50 PM

I'd trust your summary more than the NYT, r6. They have to save face.

by Anonymousreply 7April 18, 2019 10:06 PM

^thanks, Boris.

by Anonymousreply 9April 18, 2019 10:13 PM

OF COURSE a thread with this title will bring out the bots and loons (like charging R8) like flies to horse shit.

Listen up:

Rachel was right.

And Rachel is right.

About all of it. ALL of it.

by Anonymousreply 10April 18, 2019 10:14 PM

I'm hardly a fan of Rachel, but she was not the only on-air personality on that network constantly saying the end is near for Trump. Ari Melber, Chris Matthews, Laurence O'Donnell, among others, were right along side Ms. Maddow's "Trump was heading for major, major problems with the law" screeds. Turns out none of them knew jack shit.

If I was head of Comcast/NBC Universal, I'd fire all their asses and reformat. 24/7 Looney Tunes might be an appropriate replacement.

by Anonymousreply 11April 18, 2019 10:30 PM

The Mueller report is just one aspect of Trump’s legal problems.

by Anonymousreply 12April 18, 2019 10:39 PM

I don’t get the question mark at the end, are we supposed to say it in upspeak and not be sure if we mean it or not?

by Anonymousreply 13April 18, 2019 10:42 PM

HI RACHEL!

by Anonymousreply 14April 18, 2019 11:20 PM

I think Trump is dirty and he’ll still face legal investigations for the remainder of his life, or until he’s locked up, as is proper.

I think understanding nuance, and an effort to read more than headlines is called for.

by Anonymousreply 15April 18, 2019 11:24 PM

HI RACHEL!

by Anonymousreply 16April 18, 2019 11:31 PM

Small consolation, r15, but I'll take it.

by Anonymousreply 17April 18, 2019 11:33 PM

All I'm getting is "he's a shitbag."

We knew that, did he break any laws?

by Anonymousreply 18April 18, 2019 11:42 PM

I don’t understand all the guys given immunity. All of Cohen’s tape recordings. All the work, how could they not nail this scumbag?

by Anonymousreply 19April 18, 2019 11:47 PM

It's not that they all predicted the end of Trump. It's that the stories they reported, which Trump called "fake news," were confirmed to be true by the Mueller report.

by Anonymousreply 20April 18, 2019 11:47 PM

Wait, Barr gave us a redacted report that at minimum tells us he won't indict a sitting president. He gives the facts, and concludes congress should investigate/ impeach.

We know we don't have the senate. So, the house is demanding to see the unredacted report and Muellers evidence.

Where in any of that is she wrong? None of us know what mueller has because no one, except Barr and the WH has seen the unredacted report.

by Anonymousreply 21April 18, 2019 11:59 PM

By he, I mean Mueller, not Barr

by Anonymousreply 22April 19, 2019 12:00 AM

That's correct, R21, but you're not talking to typical DLers in this thread.

Mostly, you're talking to a St. Petersburg troll farm hellbent on convincing you that the Mueller report was a big nothing and that Rachel was a hysterical Chicken Little.

Both ideas are the furthest from the truth.

by Anonymousreply 23April 19, 2019 12:06 AM

Ok, thank you R23. I'm not too bright discerning trolls.

by Anonymousreply 24April 19, 2019 12:12 AM

So, will Rachel ever apologize to Trump now that it's obvious that Mueller exonerated Trump totally on the Russian collusion? And will the taxpayers ever get their money back from the wasted investigation?

by Anonymousreply 25April 19, 2019 1:02 AM

R25, you do realize that just the fines imposed on Paul Manafort more than cover the total cost of the Mueller investigation. It cost taxpayers nothing. NADA.

by Anonymousreply 26April 19, 2019 1:10 AM

So he really didn't think it was a hoax and witch hunt.

by Anonymousreply 27April 19, 2019 1:15 AM

R25 must watch only Fox News, the Mueller report did not exonerate Trump

by Anonymousreply 28April 19, 2019 1:21 AM

LOL, Kelly Conway's husband has written an op ed for the WAPO saying Trump is a cancer who needs to be impeached.

[quote] And will the taxpayers ever get their money back from the wasted investigation?

You mean the ten or more Benghazi investigations? No, you’ll have to be satisfied with zero inditements from those investigations.

by Anonymousreply 30April 19, 2019 2:23 AM

[quote] Conway: Trump is a cancer on the Presidency.

by Anonymousreply 31April 19, 2019 2:29 AM

I wonder what Putin’s plans are for the next election? I don’t mean regarding election interference, I take that for granted. I mean, I wonder if Putin will strike in some way before the most incompetent and obsequious man in history leaves office? They might seize the Baltics. Or invade Ukraine, or whatever country is bugging them at the time.

In the movie “To Big to Fail”, it was revealed that during the financial crisis, the Russians asked the Chinese to coordinate the sale of all their mutual US bonds, which would have crippled the US economy. Maybe Putin has been coaching Trump in his trade war with China, for the purpose of driving the Chinese into an alliance with Russia? You would think that Russia must know that an economic collapse in the US will be awful for everybody, including them, but people don’t always think straight and instead overplay their hand.

Certainly Putin knows that a new Democratic President will be the worst thing that could happen for Russia.

by Anonymousreply 32April 19, 2019 3:22 AM

R25...how is the weather in St. Petersburg?

by Anonymousreply 33April 19, 2019 3:27 AM

Personally, I think the next President ought to completely reset our relations with Russia. Start with outlawing ownership of any US real estate valued over $2 by any Russian national. Then restrict travel. Then add tariffs. Label the Russian government a terrorist organization. Block any banks with a US presence from doing business with the Russian government, like we do with Iran. Just write them completely off.

We’re already at war with them, it’s time to recognize it, and defend ourselves.

by Anonymousreply 34April 19, 2019 3:28 AM

I've had it so much with the Russia paranoia, I just want to throw up.

by Anonymousreply 35April 19, 2019 3:33 AM

[quote] I've had it so much with the Russia paranoia, I just want to throw up.

We have heard endless cries of Russian "interference" and "meddling" for years now, without anything much more than Facebook (social media) presence activity as examples.

"Russia" is a symptom of denial in the (Clinton) stage of grief.

by Anonymousreply 36April 19, 2019 3:39 AM

Wrong, R36. Mueller has plenty of evidence. Remember he indicted something like 40 Russians or Russian companies? Our intelligence services know they interfered. This is exactly why the Dems need to crack down on the Russians.

by Anonymousreply 37April 19, 2019 3:46 AM

R34 is absolutely right

by Anonymousreply 38April 19, 2019 3:57 AM

[quote]I think understanding nuance, and an effort to read more than headlines is called for.

Bless you heart, honey. You’re living in the wrong century.

by Anonymousreply 39April 19, 2019 5:20 AM

[quote]And the whole notion that the Kremlin somehow nefariously 'interfered' with the US election via some second-rate troll farm and a few thousand tweets and Facebook posts is fucking laughable.

I know plenty of people who don’t even have Facebook or Twitter and voted for Trump, because they thought Hillary was a steaming pile of shit.

by Anonymousreply 40April 19, 2019 9:49 PM

R36 = I didn't vote for Clinton and I sure won't fee bad about swallowing Russian propaganda.

by Anonymousreply 41April 19, 2019 10:07 PM

fee = feel

by Anonymousreply 42April 19, 2019 10:09 PM

R40, did they watch Fox news? In any event, anti-Hillary lies filtered throughout the population. Why?

Something about emails. She did nothing illegal; followed past, Republican precedence, and I still don’t know the problem.

Also, Benghazi. Incidentally, Benghazi was a CIA station, in a country in a civil war, and whose people aren’t fond of us. After a cartoon Mohammad was published. I’m sure Hillary wasn’t initially free to speak about it, as it was classified. Some people are upset that she allegedly lied about it afterwards. An inconsequential lie, if that, and yet Trump tells a dozen lies every day, but that’s ok?

And, she’s a women, and a Dem.

I’ve heard many people say they don’t trust Hillary, but can’t explain why.

by Anonymousreply 43April 19, 2019 10:41 PM

Rachel Maddow can cry at the drop of a snatch.

by Anonymousreply 44April 19, 2019 10:53 PM

Could you be very specific about what false information that was passed on about Hillary? What you probably mean is the real truth about Hillary that the legacy media was no longer able to filter for you. The real Hillary is bad enough. I can't imagine what fake stories they would have to make up to make her seem worse than she really was.

by Anonymousreply 45April 19, 2019 11:03 PM

R45 = charter member of The He-Man Woman Haters Club

by Anonymousreply 46April 19, 2019 11:20 PM

If it wasn’t reported on Clinton News Network, it’s obviously Russian lies.

by Anonymousreply 47April 19, 2019 11:30 PM

I see by R46s response they wouldn't like the answer to my question.

by Anonymousreply 48April 19, 2019 11:32 PM

Why are we still having fights from years ago? The New York primary was three years ago today.

by Anonymousreply 49April 19, 2019 11:47 PM

[quote] R45: Could you be very specific about what false information that was passed on about Hillary?

Hillary murdered her friend Vince Foster!

Despicable.

by Anonymousreply 50April 19, 2019 11:53 PM

So the Russians started that story in the 90s? Or something? LOL how many votes did that swing?

by Anonymousreply 51April 19, 2019 11:59 PM

[quote][R45]: Could you be very specific about what false information that was passed on about Hillary?

She sold Uranium to Russia and then the Russian government gave $145 million to the Clinton Foundation.

by Anonymousreply 55April 20, 2019 12:11 AM

More than half the comments are trolls. I wonder why they're so afraid and out in such force when they keep bleating that the report exonerated him?

One can wonder at the obvious, it seems.

Rachel has had it right from the very beginning. She broke it down perfectly and methodically.

The Trumps need to apologize to the American public for their cheating, lying, and be jailed for treason. I'll spare them the firing squad on the condition that the GOP be disbanded and barred from further political campaigns or the right to organize.

I want a full apology to the American Public from Mitch McConnell and the hypochristians that elected Pence. I further want the complete dossier on Melanoma released for public scrutiny.

by Anonymousreply 60April 20, 2019 12:20 AM

ALL the transcripts of the secret meetings between Putin and Trump must be released. Melanoma must be placed in Gitmo and tortured for the truth of her translating, Russian complicit ass.

by Anonymousreply 61April 20, 2019 12:21 AM

Ivanka and Jared must be stripped and whipped in the public square, Times Square, preferably. Their children will be raised by wolves in Guatamala and turned back at the border if they dare to cross.

ALL of them must be stripped of citizenship after their dealings with Israel, Russia, Saudi Arabia, China, etc. come to light.

All profits from every deal made during their 'unofficial' tenure must be turned over the IRS and given to Flint, Michigan, to repair their water and sewer system.

Any illegal immigrant working for the Trump organization in the last 20 years will be granted immediate citizenship.

by Anonymousreply 64April 20, 2019 12:27 AM

R62 W&W!

by Anonymousreply 65April 20, 2019 12:29 AM

I agree. What kind of monster can a president be to have not done anything about Flint's water?

by Anonymousreply 66April 20, 2019 12:32 AM

I love Rachel and she's been dead on since the very beginning, R65. The trolls can suck it.

No apologies for traitors.

by Anonymousreply 67April 20, 2019 12:33 AM

Flint needs to get some celebrity millionaires/billionaires (like Oprah) involved with Flint. They each pledge to pay for a mile of pipe. Get it done!

by Anonymousreply 68April 20, 2019 12:38 AM

That would rock, R68. Where are all those Michigan Magats like Kid Rock and his ilk?

Yeah, probably shooting up some shit somewhere with their stripper/hookers and pretending to give a shit.

by Anonymousreply 69April 20, 2019 12:43 AM

Rachel and her cis-privilege.

by Anonymousreply 70April 20, 2019 12:47 AM

Nice of you to notice, R70....don't you have a merkin to wash?

Love these bitches who want all the tolerance only for themselves. Someone, everyone, has got the goods but them. Boo the fuck hoo.

by Anonymousreply 71April 20, 2019 12:50 AM

Obama is to blame for Flint? Not Rick Snyder? Not the "emergency managers" the state put in place?

Now that's some grade-A wingnutty Trumpanzee deflecting goodness.
