It still takes discipline though.

In the months leading up to his sudden vindication, Aaron was posting very strange instastories all but advertising the fact he escorts for rich men. For someone so strictly in the closet, it's been a very strange turn towards being open, maybe related to his gay defense?

But now that he's off the legal hook, it only seems like he's ramped up the hinting further. He's been more open about sharing his life again, something he had locked down after Downtongate and the multiple ways his posts were being used as evidence in his grifting.

What I think we are seeing is a mix of him (over)sharing now that he's finally free to do so again, and him trying to relive his 20s. That's all any of us knew of him. For years the DL search function used Schock and his designation as an exemplar of how to search this forum. He was not a high-profile statesman who makes the even ing news regularly (i.e. AOC, Linsday Graham, etc.). He was notable only because he was believed (known) to be gay -- a cockgobbler -- and he was a Republican congressman. So he was not good at hiding it.
