The death of Georgia Engel made me think of this. Car crash, unconscious male driver taken to hospital and treated for a week before discharge. How does the church deal with this situation?

OP,I think the Church would say it was up to the individual. Christian Scientists have broken bones set and are seen in emergency rooms,probably more than people realize.In the case of someone rendered unconscious,if they regained consciousness they would avail themselves to medical care or rely on CS treatment.There are facilities associated with the Church that members go to for basic care (bathing,wound care,meals etc.)while working with a practitioner.The elephant in the room,is you have to choose one or the other.A practitionercan't treat you if you are under medical care.I've probably confused you with my poor communication skills. Hope this helped.
