Decriminalize means be more like Portugal: no more prison for possessing small amounts, but it's a civil infraction requiring rehab. It's works in Portugal. Trafficking and distributing is still criminal.

It' a good idea to experiment with, but it's federal law, so a single state can't actually do anything to try it out.

I dunno, but the Democrats should be pushing him in those circles and exploiting that division. The Republicans certainly do it with us.
