Now that Rosalie Craig blew it at the Oliviers, which Broadway tootsie (who's still able to menstruate) will take her place opposite Patti L on the great white way?
Theatre Gossip #351 "Caroline or Change the actress playing Bobbi in Company before it comes to Broadway" Edition

Largely rave reviews for "Oklahoma!," of course, including from Ben Brantley. But Rex Reed offers the Datalounge perspective.

the search feature for "theatre gossip #351" brings up NOTHING
by Anonymous | reply 2 | April 8, 2019 4:26 PM |
And yet there are THREE 351 entries now.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | April 8, 2019 4:29 PM |
You have to search by date, and then look carefully at the results to find the right thread.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | April 8, 2019 4:30 PM |
I don't suppose we could all agree on one thread and jettison the other two...?
by Anonymous | reply 5 | April 8, 2019 4:45 PM |
Just when it seemed juggling two threads was too much we've got this.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | April 8, 2019 5:10 PM |
The new search function sucks donkey dick.

Agreed. What a disaster.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | April 8, 2019 5:23 PM |
I sometimes have better luck using Google instead of the new search function, but even that brought up only this thread, not the other two.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | April 8, 2019 5:25 PM |
I started this thread and of the three, mine was the 2nd thread. I searched several times and several different ways and nothing came up. It's fine to kill this one.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | April 8, 2019 7:16 PM |
We don't know how to actually kill threads.
If it drops into obscurity today, it will just get picked up at some random time in the future.
The best we can hope for is that one of these does turn into something interesting.
Maybe we could make this the West End thread and start by discussing the awards?

So what does everyone think of circumcision?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | April 8, 2019 7:46 PM |
Rex Reed is a Living National Treasure.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | April 8, 2019 8:25 PM |
I cannot find the other two current threads, no matter how I search. Very annoying.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | April 8, 2019 9:07 PM |
Because so many Broadway threads I put this one here, too. Patti’s cry Jonathan’s bf and Being Alive
by Anonymous | reply 17 | April 8, 2019 9:36 PM |
oh please tell me folks aren't going to post in triplicate on all three 351 threads
by Anonymous | reply 18 | April 8, 2019 10:05 PM |
Like R16, this is the only one of the three I've been able to find.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | April 9, 2019 12:09 AM |
Hmmph, if people are gonna post in the other thread that was late to the party, then they can post in THIS one!
by Anonymous | reply 21 | April 9, 2019 6:54 PM |
Was this one first or second?
Don't worry. It wont actually die. It wil crop up over and over and over again for weeks.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | April 9, 2019 10:16 PM |
This one was 2nd. The Oklahoma one was third but it seems to be the one that's taken off.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | April 10, 2019 3:14 AM |
We shall have 1800 posts
by Anonymous | reply 24 | April 11, 2019 1:29 AM |
I had no idea bootlegs were even a possibility for shows from the 70s.

[quote]R1 Rex Reed offers the Datalounge perspective.
Shocked he is still alive.
WHY is he?
by Anonymous | reply 28 | April 13, 2019 3:03 PM |
R27 That looks like an interesting show! What is it??
by Anonymous | reply 29 | April 13, 2019 3:10 PM |

I don't know.
But imagine if we could recast it in our minds and discuss our choices amongst ourselves?
by Anonymous | reply 30 | April 13, 2019 7:10 PM |
R31 lol. The indian headress...so much to unpack.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | April 13, 2019 8:17 PM |
Why aren't we finishing this one up, too?
by Anonymous | reply 33 | April 20, 2019 7:01 AM |
If someone discovers a Theatre Gossip #352 (I tried to find it but no luck) would you please post a link?
by Anonymous | reply 34 | April 20, 2019 8:44 AM |
so are we finishing this or going straight to 352? I do hate following 2 threads
by Anonymous | reply 36 | April 20, 2019 1:04 PM |
It looks like we're going straight to 352. I'm with r36: Can we please just let this thread die?
by Anonymous | reply 37 | April 20, 2019 3:03 PM |
No one asked you
by Anonymous | reply 38 | April 20, 2019 4:11 PM |
Forget this fourth 351, time to let that number go. On to #353
by Anonymous | reply 39 | April 25, 2019 1:55 AM |
#352 - March to the Tonys went to shit very fast.

You didn't enjoy all those hilarious proposals for non-traditional casting?
by Anonymous | reply 41 | April 25, 2019 3:39 PM |
We saw Patti L. in Company in London last fall. When it comes to Broadway, go! It is fabulous!

It was as if Cackle Cackle had discovered reddit and was trying out all the new lingo.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | April 25, 2019 4:13 PM |
Is there are thread #358 or are we reverting to this old thing?
