Hard to pick just one hit...

I think she's affecting a slight British accent, but it works.

We Live for Love is my fav.

There used to be this slow acoustic version she and her husband did at Great Adventure theme park in NJ that was so good but I can't find it on youtube.

Hard to beat We Belong. Benatar and Giraldo really improved the lyrics and added that iconic synth riff which made the song so great. Here is songwriters Lowen & Navarro's version which isn't nearly so memorable.

And not to rile the Kate Bush fans and I'm not arguing her version is better, but I've always really liked Benatar's cover of Wuthering Heights.

I remember HEARTBREAKER from parties in seventh grade, but my favorites are FIRE AND ICE, STOP USING SEX AS A WEAPON, IT'S A LITTLE TOO LITTLE.

I wish she had been more experimental, and used her 4 octave voice more creatively. Like Kate Bush, Annie Lennox, etc.

But she always just wanted to rock (maybe so her husband would have a job?).

She said the record companies always wanted her to be a super-sexed-up babe in leather. But she can't blame them totally.

Sometimes she tours. Every year or so, I'll see her listed for upcoming shows at small venues.

Pat was truly the soundtrack for much of my youth. I just loved her out of the gate,and still do.I genuinely cant choose just one of her songs as my favorite,the best I can do is Wuthering heights and We Belong.

She just played my town, small venue, on what was billed as her 40th Anniversary Tour.

Tickets started at $85, so I simply stood outside awhile and took pictures of her tour bus and her hot security.

The video for Love is a Battlefield is crapstastic! Pat as a teenage runaway! Lol. I wish she would tour. She has a great catalog and a great voice!

"Love is a Battlefield" is a hilarious video. The actors who play her parents don't look much older than she. But what always got me paying attention was the hottie who ascends the escalator and bumps into her.

My two musts from her are We Live For Love & Heartbreaker -both have that hi-gloss new-wavey sheen of Mike Chapman (despite being produced by Peter Coleman, who was sort of the Phil Harding of Chinichap).

Her best vocal work? She is stunning here.

My first Pat Benatar concert was at the Erwin Center in Austin on October 5, 1981. Even better, almost the whole show is on an officially released CD! It doesn't include "Just Like Me", "I'm Gonna Follow You" and "It's A Tuff Life", which were also performed that night.

Along with the cheap fake-concert-performance videos for "Fire And Ice" and "Promises In The Dark," Pat also filmed at the same time a video for "It's A Tuff Life," which is little known.

She made an actual video for "Precious Time."

The first time I ever saw Pat on TV on December 5, 1980 on 'Fridays', I became a fan for life!

I know many feel she has a horse mouth, but I find her sexy (in a weird way). The Biotch can definitely sing.

Loved every one of her hits, starting with Heartbreaker when I was a little kid.

But Shadows of the Night grabbed me the minute I heard it and I still love the song today. Brilliant!

I recently saw her and her hubby do an acoustic concert. Her voice is still incredible
