They did the same thing to her at homely Isabelle's wedding too. Why does Nicole look so weird in OP's pic? Something about her nose...
by Anonymous | reply 1 | March 28, 2019 9:03 PM |
He's an awful man, but a great actor. I am glad Nicole has moved on and now has a family of her own. This must have been terribly painful for her to have her children torn away all those years ago.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | March 28, 2019 9:06 PM |
Time to spill the dirt Nicole. You're the mother, and he's fucking with your kids.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | March 28, 2019 9:06 PM |
Connor and Isabella are awful. I remember Kidman talking about the adoptions, defending them as her own children when asked about her "adopted children." She didn't like that qualifier and talked about family being about love and not necessarily blood ties. She seemed like a devoted mom. These kids tossed her aside for what? The SeaOrg?

It's a cult. I feel bad for Kidman.

This is not good PR for the church. He used to spin the estrangement from the kids as being an indication of something bad about Nichole. Now everyone suspects that he and the church brainwashed the kids to hate her. Having weddings without just confirms it. I don’t get why she’s supposed to be the worst SP of all time. She was never a member of the church and she’s never trashed it.

I don't think Nicole was ever the legal mother of Conor & Isabella. They always belonged solely to Tom. It was part of the contract.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | March 28, 2019 9:52 PM |
R12, according to Isabella her "mother-figure" was Tom's sister. Another reason I don't think Nicole was ever really Conor & Isabella's "real" mom.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | March 28, 2019 9:55 PM |
For a long time, people trashed Nicole for "abandoning" her first set of kids. Then the truth about Scientology started to come out, and once the kids starting speaking for themselves, it became very clear that they abandoned her. And she can't really defend herself, because that would mean she'd have to criticize the cult. That cult believes it has a right to break laws in its stalking and harassment of its enemies. It's nearly destroyed people.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | March 28, 2019 9:56 PM |
R12, I don't believe that's true. Why did Katie Holmes decide to sneak out of Cruise's home with their child while he was away at work, and have the divorce papers delivered to him immediately. She had to be sneaky and catch him off guard if she wanted to keep her child.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | March 28, 2019 9:58 PM |
R17 I think she can't defend herself because it would mean having to discuss the contract marriage to Tom. It would make her also look bad. Almost like a Debbie Rowe.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | March 28, 2019 10:00 PM |
Nicole was only in her mid-20s when Cruise adopted Isabella. I think it is possible that she regrets her role in the situation but she was young and thirsty for Hollywood success.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | March 28, 2019 10:03 PM |
I don't feel bad for her. She knew she was marrying a cult member.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | March 28, 2019 10:04 PM |
R18 the big difference between Katie and Nicole's situation is that Katie was the biological mother of Suri. Behind the scenes, we don't know if Nicole really adopted Conor and Isabella.
I don't think Cruise would let her adopt them because he is a control freak and probably the cult would also have been against it.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | March 28, 2019 10:05 PM |
R18, I know someone who works for the security firm that Cruise uses. Holmes was preparing her exit on the down low for almost a year. My friend's security firm knew NOTHING. They found out the day that it hit the news and she was SHOOK. She could not but admire Katie for that level of stealth. Holmes had figured out whom she could and could not trust and planned everything slowly and carefully. By the time she flew the coop, neither Cruise, the church nor the security team could have stopped her.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | March 28, 2019 10:06 PM |
If Nicole wanted those kids she would have fought for them. And dollars to dimes the public would have taken her side. Yes, Scientology is creepy and idiotic but I suspect the dynamics here are more complicated than they appear. I think she did not care for or bond with those kids and they sensed it. And that made them far more open to both the more demonstrative Cruise and to Scientology. Let's face it, a desperate parent who was alienated from their kids but still cared for them would not have moved across the country and refused to acknowledge they exist. She probably never wanted to adopt, instead preferring her "perfect " little ivf created daughters. Cruise is batshit insane and Kidman is an ice queen cunt.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | March 28, 2019 10:06 PM |
If you've watched Leah Remini's show, you know that these desperate parents, no matter what they do, cannot get through to their own children. The kids have to come to the conclusion that the church is poison on their own; some of them never do. That's why it should be banned here, like they banned it in Germany.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | March 28, 2019 10:09 PM |
Cruise and Kidman shared custody. She's not an SP. She worked with Elisabeth Moss. Connor and Isabelle were at Kidman and Keith Urban wedding. Kidman forgot about the kids once she had the bio ones. That's the sad truth people don't wanna accept because they hate Cruise and Nicole is the people's darling

Tom Cruise is considered a ‘deity’ by Scientologists, as low-ranking members are 'ordered to watch the actor's films multiple times'
Leah Remini, who was a Scientologist until 2013, has never been shy when it comes to spilling secrets of the controversial church and its most famous member.
And now the King of Queens star, 48, has said the Mission: Impossible actor, 56, is like a god to the members of the church.
‘[Cruise is] considered a deity within Scientology. He is second to David Miscavige — the savior of the free world,’ Remini told Page Six.
It was also reported that lower-ranking Scientologists are told by their leaders to see Cruise’s movies, with thousands of tickets apparently bought for his Mission: Impossible and Jack Reacher franchises to increase the actor’s box office.
Ex-Scientologist Bree Mood, who left the church a few months ago, said: ‘Tom Cruise was a god in the lower ranks. Every time a Tom Cruise movie came out they’d buy all his tickets. It could be 500, 1,000, up to 2,500 people. I’m not kidding.’
by Anonymous | reply 29 | March 28, 2019 10:13 PM |
They are not banned in germany, R26. they do not have the legal status of a church and are not eligible to the tax and other benfits/regulations/rights that come with that. they are a private association, nothing more, nothing less.

It took much finagling for Tom to allow the kids to go to Nicole's wedding.
They weren't even allowed to go to the reception. Tom's plane flew them to Australia & they were only on the ground 4 hours before he had his people whisk them out of the country.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | March 28, 2019 10:24 PM |
@31 That's not true. The kids were at the reception
“Connor and Bella came over to Keith during the reception several times when Nicole wasn’t even there—just to chat,” says a guest. “During his speech, Keith said how happy he was that they were there. He pointed to them and there was a round of applause.”

How does KH manage to keep Cruise permanently away from her child? Did he at some point just give up and just doesn't care anymore bc Holmes fucked him over and left the church? Did he ever ask for visitation or shared custody? It looks like he last saw his kid when she was still a toddler.
But I really love this. Karma is a bitch. He did the exact same thing to Kidman and now he hopefully knows what it feels like.
And to all the people here who think Kidman just moved on and did not care about those children, I think you are all so wrong. From all interviews I read from her over the years it seems that she is a really decent person and loves those kids. She was heartbroken after the divorce and tried her best to still have a relationship with them, but Cruise, his freakish cult and the sisters who live with him made it impossible.

I think Cruise is infertile. He could never get Nicole pregnant which was why they adopted, but she carried Keith Urban's kids so... I think he is not Suri's father which is why he is a) not involved b) not interested and c) how Katie keeps him away. There was A LOT of speculation about Suri's father and the timing of Katie's pregnancy.

Bingo!
Plus, Katie managed to keep her kid and for a bit Tom had visitation with Suri. I think what is true is that obvious. Nic never bonded with Conner and Isabella. Nic even said she wishes she were closer to her children.

Isabella is becoming a top tier Scientology auditor. What I find puzzling about her letter to all fellow cult members is her saying "something was always missing and now I found out what it was". What did she find that was missing when she has been in this bizarre cult from birth? Read her letter. She is batshit crazy and her rant sounds like the verbal equivalent of Tom's couch-jumping incident. I also get the sense that she may be a little fame-hungry and this is the only way she will get it. Aside from all that, her awful blonde dye job reminds me of Julia Roberts when she broke up with Kiefer Sutherland and did Hook. That ridiculous nose ring doesn't help either.

The shady part of it is that the kids were likely taken away from Sea Org women. Up until recently, it was Co$ policy to require abortions of Sea Org women. The cult does want its workers to have children because they interfere with their 80 pllus hour work weeks. Laura DeCrescenzo's lawsuit brought this practice to the public's attention. Scientology finally settled with her last year after protracting the court battle for nearly a decade.
The scenario I envision is that pregnant Sea Org slaves were given the choice to bring their pregnancies to term so the Cruises could adopt or abort the fetuses. Two agreed to carry to term for them. I can see Kidman, as a Catholic, rationalizing these abductions as saving their lives.

Nicole is actually quite warm & funny. I live in Nashville very near their Green Hills home. She is seen regularly around there = shopping, running, going to the local French bakery, going to Whole Foods, etc... She is quite approachable & without any airs.
I think she gets the cold tag because she is a bit shy in interviews.

IT is impossible to deal with a cult because they pay off the social workers in a court case. This is what that bitch laura weissman does. The law has changed about child custody rights now.
Cults alienate people from the family and outside life. It is a cult if everyone around you is associated with the cult and/or other family members who are also in the cult. These are criminal enterprises and children are at enormous risk being in one.
For instance, if the school program is private and religious, all the medical doctors and program are private and/or religious, and all the food/extracurricular programs are private and/or religious it is a cult and a criminal enterprise. Shit like this should be shut down.

I want to know more about what exactly is different about a Scientologist wedding ceremony. Do they just switch out ‘Xenu’ for ‘God’ in the standard liturgy or is it more weird? I imagine the bride and groom holding empty soup cans tied to a metal detector taped to a car battery standing in front of a man in a Star Trek uniform.
by Anonymous | reply 94 | March 30, 2019 8:36 PM |
Not a clue what the ceremony involves, but if you're the purported number two in the cult, David Miscavige the Chairman of the Board (as he calls himself) accompanies you and your new bride on your honeymoon. No joke.

R91 Kidman easily could have contacted high profile divorce and family lawyers. The media and most of America would have been incredibly sympathetic. I can just see the People Magazine headline: "Nicole's Fight to Save Children From Cult ". She might even land her own lifetime movie. The difference is that Katie wanted her children, Kidman did not want hers.
by Anonymous | reply 97 | March 30, 2019 10:20 PM |
There was also the factor that Tom & Nicole's kids were much older than Suri when they divorced. If the kid is older than 12 it's fairly customary for the judge to ask who they prefer to live with.
Add in the fact that CO$ buys off judges, lawyers, or even some of them may be a part of the cult.
My Conner & Bella's age they had already been corrupted by the time of the divorce.
If you watch Leah Remini's show you realize nothing is above the machinations of the CO$

R82 it was an old magazine article I believe. Most of my TC gossip dates before the internet which is why I’m a little vague. It might have been reported that they knew who the mother was - I think Connor’s mother was known and Isabella’s was kept secret. Shady Scientology dealings involved.
There was a TV interview with TC on Entertainment Tonight where he admitted he had a low sperm count. This was back around Mimi days.
by Anonymous | reply 99 | March 30, 2019 10:27 PM |
"The media and most of America would have been incredibly sympathetic. I can just see the People Magazine headline: "Nicole's Fight to Save Children From Cult "."
Well, if she'd tried that, two things would have happened. 1) The Scientologists would have done their damndest to ruin Kidman's career and image, and may have succeeded. And 2) the kids may well have chosen to live with Cruise and his cult, of their own free wills.
Now it's probable that Kidman kept the custody issues out of the public eye because of reason #1, but reason #2 may also have been a factor. Because it would have been horrible to pull the kids into the public eye and make their relationships with their parents a matter of public debate, and to invite the public to criticize whatever choice or preference the kids expressed. That would have been an absolutely horrible thing to do to kids who were, what, around ten at the time? So I don't know why the custody decision was kept out of the public eye, but it was... probably in the best interests of the children to keep it quiet.

[quote]"The media and most of America would have been incredibly sympathetic. I can just see the People Magazine headline: "Nicole's Fight to Save Children From Cult "."
People either had no clue or were minimally aware back then. Remember the separation and divorce were 18 years ago long before much was known about the cult's criminality. Operation Clambake had been around for only a few years and Tony Ortega had been writing about them for a few years, but this information wasn't quite midstream and there was not much support for those leaving the cult and there certainly wasn't a blueprint since many of the defections were literally escapes or prison breaks. It was before the couch-jumping and that bizarre secret birthday tape of Cruise where he babbled on incoherently about the "special powers" he had received through his association with the cult. It was before David Miscavige's wife disappeared and, more importantly, it was before people began leaving the cult in droves and we began hearing stories of the abuse.
And the press? Prior they had been afraid of printing critical stories because the Co$ is heavily, heavily litigious. If threats weren't enough, the cult had/has deep coffers. They'd also harass the journalists or anyone who threatened them..
Nowadays, she'd receive plenty or support because the cat's out of the bag, not so much back then.

You guys also forget that if Kidman really had fought for custody, she probably wouldn't have been able to move on and live a normal life. There would be people following her around and stalking her constantly, she would probably have new "neighbors" who would set up a surveillance camp near her house, people harassing her family, her colleagues, her neighbors and workplace. She would also face an endless number of lawsuits. People spreading rumors that she is a pervert, bad mother or whatever they usually come up with. She could probably only see her kids if a "handler" was around who made sure she did not turn the kids against Cruise or the church.
You guys should just read some of the stories ex-members shared about this "religion". Their methods are plentiful and they won't get bored or stop till their target is destroyed or gives up. Remember there was also reports that Katie suddenly had a new "best friend" who was always around and followed her everywhere and she used a disposable phone to contact her family bc they where probably also controlling her phone and internet activities.
I'm amazed how her father permanently managed to keep them away from her daughter. Not just custody also no harassment or other shit they usually pull on members who leave. He must be a big mastermind and probably instructed her to get some dirt on Cruise or the church to keep them away forever.

Nicole is catty and bitchy to whoever said she was nice (in public), I submit this video:
It starts at 5:07
by Anonymous | reply 108 | March 31, 2019 7:43 AM |
Yes, exactly what R105 says. The church has no boundaries or limits to the extent they will go to to stalk and harass critics or apostates who speak up. They are ruthless. The cult got its tax exempt status by blackmailing an IRS official and also tried to frame Paulette Cooper, and early author and critic of Hubbard's:
[quote]As she continued to investigate Scientology over the years, Cooper became the target of several harassment campaigns, including a Scientology campaign known as Operation Freakout, the goal of which was to deter Cooper from criticizing Scientology by having her "incarcerated in a mental institution or jail or at least to hit her so hard that she drops her attacks."[5] In another campaign titled "Operation Dynamite,"[6] the Church of Scientology sent itself forged bomb threats, purportedly from Cooper, using her stationery with her fingerprints on it; it also planned to send bomb threats to Henry Kissinger, among others. The campaign was discovered when the FBI raided Scientology offices in 1977 and recovered documents relating to the operation.[7] Sometime in 1977, Cooper's assassination was possibly planned, along with another murder, but it is unknown whether or not it was attempted.[8] The Church of Scientology finally agreed to an out-of-court settlement with Cooper in 1985.[9]

I had similar thoughts when I saw that video of Selma Blair struggling to speak because of multiple sclerosis. One of my thoughts was that I wished Tom Cruise or James Woods had multiple sclerosis instead of Selma. If TC was to become ill, he would likely try to use bathshit Scientology beliefs to cure whatever he's suffering from. Maybe, a situation like that would lead to him realizing the Scientology is bullshit.
I hope one of TC's adopted kids wises up to the bullshit. But, it's difficult for some people raised in the cult to get out. People like the Mastersons, Giovanni Ribisi, and Erika Christensen defend COS to no end and they can't see the light at all.

R7 I'm late in answering your question but she was deemed the worst SP because at one point the church's main interest was keeping Tom in the church and Nicole apparently almost got him to leave. Her father is also a psychologist and she's viewed as tainted because of they hate all forms of psychiatry and psychology. I forget where I learned about Nicole almost getting him to leave but I used to be really interested in news about the CoS so it's probably from some old gossip or newspaper.

R110: I can almost guarantee you that if Tom Cruise was ever suffering from a serious illness then he’d immediately seek the best medical treatment money could buy.
Tammy is into the cult due to how they stroke his ego and make him feel important. He’s also probably insecure due to just being an actor with barely any education.

Some guy who said he was in the same group as Cruise when they were both in the seminary gave an interview a couple of years ago. He alleged that both that he and Tammy engaged in mutual oral sex, while also watching each other jack off.
Then there’s the rumours that he gave it up to Zeffirelli in order to get his start in the business.

r89 is funny, but that's also true. Children of wealthy parents will put of with A LOT of their parents' insane shit and keep their mouths shut in order to not be cut off from the money and the lifestyle it provides. And of course the eventual inheritance. They also have the advantage of being able to travel and live far away from their parents so they don't have to see them very often.

Have you guys seen the artwork of their books, flyers and stuff. I think it looks super fake and has a certain "style" that I immediately connect with cults. I think the Jehovah's witnesses stuff looks very similar.
I also loved the fact that Cruise's "buddy" Steven Spielberg was highly irritated that Cruise allowed his cult to set up massage tent and other stuff on the set of War of the Worlds and their friendship cooled down after that. He thought they were harassing his employees and he was not amused. Probably realized for the first time what a bunch of lunatics they are.

R162 I haven’t seen any flyers recently. I was kind of shocked when I saw footage of one of their Hollywood ceremonies. The stage set and graphics were super cheesy. It was like a sci-fi Triumph of the Will. I expected with so many entertainment industry people involved that you’d get something better.
by Anonymous | reply 163 | April 3, 2019 7:53 PM |
Their ceremonies and stage sets are evoke images of Nazi rallies. Seriously creepy.

I saw a Scientology flyer about ten years ago that reminded me of an old sci-fi novel cover. I was in San Francisco for a business trip and I stayed with a friend. We went out to a movie and when we got out we found a flyer on my friend's windshield. It had people in space wearing weird astronaut costumes.

I want to know too R168. I've watched a lot of youtube videos of protestors outside Scientology buildings in different cities. In some videos, people coming out of the Scientology buildings ignore the protestors. In other videos Scienos or security guards getting into with protestors.
Former Scieno Steven Mango has a great youtube channel where he talks about his experiences in COS, he has done protests in Hollywood. There was one video where a security guard followed him and a friend after they were protesting.
