5) How would you know if he’s “emotionally mature”? He’s been able to maintain a long-distance relationship for two years, he clearly has a good relationship with Groff’s family, he hasn’t bragged about the relationship like some of Groff’s former boyfriends have. All of that indicates maturity.

Some of you simply do not want Groff to be happy in a relationship, to the point you have to come up with these extremely nit-picking criticisms that are huge stretches, and I can’t figure out why.

R230 Funny, there’s an article around where James says it was Groff’s ex Quinto who encouraged him to try out for the voice.

Also funny to think how different Quinto and Groff’s careers have gone since they broke up in 2013. When they were together, Quinto was a star and Groff was barely known (at least in the tv world/film world). Now that seems to have switched.

I think Quinto still has more name value than Groff. The HEROES role and Spock are pretty iconic to genre fans.

R232 Oh for sure Quinto’s name is more valued than Groff’s name. However, I would say the trajectory of their careers has reversed. Or rather Groff’s has steadily risen.

Groff was unknown in tv/film when Frozen came out in 2013. I mean Looking hadn’t even premiered at that point. Now, he has two tony noms, a Grammy, a David Fincher show, and the Matrix. I’d say the projects he’s picked have worked out well for his career.

Corey is staying positive and creative under the circumstances, getting inspiration even under the shower. It may take few more months after the lockdown lifted to learn if Groff and he are still together. Huh R261, I watched Looking for the first time recently and my main take away was how in love with himself Jonathan Groff seemed. I did not find that it made his character hot, endearing, or interesting.
