Are you a gay of a certain age who watched this movie on one of its many weekend afternoon airings on local stations?
I used to be obsessed with this movie. Omg so good.

I saw it at a drive in when it first came out. I was 16!

Still a very good, fun movie. I watched it a few years ago and it holds up well. Glad there's never been a shitty remake to spoil the legacy.

I love Shelley Long.

It might be good compared to Long's other flops, but it isn't that good. It would've made a better tv movie, the material wasn't strong enough to be a hit theatrical movie.

I did it a lot better.

Never heard of it.

It's one of those "panned by the critics but the queens love it anyway" movies. Some people think being gay is a license to have bad taste.

Jenny Lewis (Hannah Nefler) has a successful music career

I don't care what people say - I love Shelley Long movies. Night Shift, Losin' It, Irreconcilable Differences, The Money Pit, and Outrageous Fortune. Love them all.
But Troop Beverly Hills is her absolute best. I never tire of watching it. It was Girl Power before Spice Girls. It's a lot of fun.

I've never seen it. Shelley Long's career is interesting. She made a huge mistake leaving Cheers, but it probably prolonged the show.

I saw that awful film on video a long, long time ago. Doesn’t she pretend to get drunk on Evian water and do a silly dance to a song called The Freddy?
That red hair was a wig, right?
She’s a pretty lady and a good actress, but this film was unwatchable. She was better in Outrageous Fortune, and so funny on Cheers.

I remember watching this movie twice on TV one weekend, returning to school the next day and no one knew what I was talking about.
