It's been a while, but from what I remember about her bizarre story:

Suleman got a large payout from workers' comp, which, in California, is a total shitshow in terms of paying out a ton of money to people who don't need or deserve it. As one example, the relative of a friend of mine didn't work for a couple of years after she sustained an incredibly minor injury while working as a bartender.

Apparently the plastic surgery and IVF were funded by that payout. The original six kids were implanted via IVF, and Suleman had eight other unused, fertilized eggs, and she got her doctor to load her up with all of them at once. Implanted numerous embryos is standard procedure with IVF since many of them don't take, and the doctors typically expect the patient to get a reduction (which is a euphemism for selective abortion). Suleman, being batshit, didn't do that.

That last IVF procedure was the end of the ride. Suleman ran out of workers' comp money, and now she and her kids are sucking off the taxpayer teat and, I assume, are getting money from private donors.

The goddamn doctor should take care of those poor kids for life and I am not kidding.

She has two with disabilities from her older group of kids, but on the video, they only showed one. The one with autism also appears to have an intellectual disability, so that's a big payday on SSI. Plus, she takes care of him, so she is also eligible to receive IHHS money, as his caretaker. So, with two children (one severe) bringing in money, I think she gets around $6,000 plus food stamps.
