I guess he thought he could do Mitch McConnell's look better!
He says the "wheels are coming off" the Mueller investigation, which to date has indicted or forced guilty pleas from 34 individuals and 3 companies. No mention of the numerous other investigations into Trump, some of which touch on Russia and other foreign entities, of course.
He calls the DNC and MSNBC the same organization in a rhetorical flourish guaranteed to get the atherosclerotic hearts of Fox's 65+ viewer base racing, despite MSNBC including among its talent numerous high profile Republicans and progressives who are routinely critical of national Democrats.
He argues circularly that Nancy Pelosi is "stupid" for saying that she's not in favor of impeachment unless overwhelming evidence emerges from the famously leakproof Mueller investigation, since she should already know all of the investigation's results. Hmm.
He repeatedly sets up the straw man that the "overriding theme of the Democrats" since the 2016 election has been "that Donald Trump is blackmailed by or controlled by the Kremlin." This despite them winning elections based on domestic issues like health care and none of the Democratic candidates for president focusing on the relationship between Trump and Russia.
All the while, he commits the much graver offenses of being uglier than sin and flinging his spittle on all four walls of his Rio studio.
Someone in another thread today wrote that the only gay worse than Andy Cohen is Singer. I very much beg to differ.
