It is amazing to watch him pick apart the BBC point after point.
And it helps that he is hot.

He's a mouthpiece for the movement to oust Maduro.
It's interesting because he's in bed with the neo-cons and Trump for the ultimate goal of helping the average Venezuelan. But, the Left has always been critical of the US meddling in Latin American affairs and decapitating regimes through fomenting military coups.
Mejia is fomenting a military coup with the blessing of Trump. His "picking apart the BBC" is his attempt to square the circle. He's an opposition lawmaker in Venezuela all over western media openly drumming up support for a US-led military coup.

Someone please explain wtf is this purported picking apart of the BBC.

"square the circle"?

R8 "square the circle" = to bring together two things which are normally thought to be so different that they cannot exist together.; to attempt the impossible.
After over 50 years of arguing against American military intervention in their governments, Leftists in Latin America are now arguing FOR American military intervention.

Absolutely no-one here cares about any of this.

He has been interviewed by the BBC and responding brilliantly. I am sure that was the point.
But his party is also supported by over 60 countries, not just the US and Trump.
