Elisabeth Shue

Elisabeth Shue and Andrew McCarthy could have done the same type of formulaic rom-coms that went to Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.

She must have made a ton of money as Burger King's spokesperson

Always like Elisabeth. She was cute in the '80s in Adventures in Babysitting. And she was fantastic in Leaving Las Vegas. It's a shame that performance didn't lead to more A-level films, although she has worked steadily.

She did a scene on CSI that required her to wear shoes that showed her feet.

She was mortified since she hadn't had a pedicure or pruned her barnaclesque toenails in weeks. The makeup department was forced to hack away at them.

Please welcome to the stage: ELISABETH'S SHOE

She’s a pretty bland actress.

It’s not that she’s all that interesting in LEAVING LAS VEGAS, it’s that the [italic]character’s[/italic] interesting.

Surprising she didn't get typecast as the Burger King spokeswoman since she did so many commercials for them.

That story about her and Rick James on the beach around 1984-1985 was kind of interesting and probably true.

She's nothing like Meg Ryan. Meg Ryan was endearing (before she became grotesque). Shue was more of a mild tomboy, who was very miscast in SOAPDISH.

Andrew Shue and Andrew McCarthy could have done formulaic porn.

WHET Andrew McCarthy? I just saw him on an old episode of Monk that's over 15 years old. I read he stopped drinking, so his looks must be somewhat intact given his age.

Weird fact: Elisabeth went to Harvard.

Andrew aged OK. 2018 here. I thought he looked super sexy in 2010.

I hear she's a big bad boss bitch.

I read that Andrew McCarthy's taken up a side career of travel writing. Don't know if he's good at it.

Funny enough, r11, Andrew showed up in the latest episode of Good Girls the night you posted.

He has won awards for his travel writing.

One of his young daughters starred as Mathilda on Broadway last year.
