Has anyone watched this documentary about Mr. Hands?
Is it graphic? Hard to watch? Is it well done?
I'm not sure I want to commit until I have more information.

I started watching it .... not what I expected. But very depressing and eerie.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | March 2, 2019 9:16 PM |
I made it to the end. It turned out to be not quite what I expected. The whole thing is very sad, I guess. I really don't know what else to think about it.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | March 2, 2019 10:25 PM |
It doesn't contain the actual footage of Mr Hands getting impaled by the horse, if that's what you're looking for, OP.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | March 2, 2019 10:26 PM |
I was expecting something very different.

Me's sistar
by Anonymous | reply 5 | March 2, 2019 10:34 PM |
Nothing graphic. It is very "off" though. Hard to follow. Lighting is too dark. They jump right in and barely establish the characters/people. Hard to follow. Not really worth it OP
by Anonymous | reply 6 | March 2, 2019 10:35 PM |
There was video of one of the acts. Most all of the show is reenactment shit. There's a scene where they were showing family members( I think) the videos and there's a brief glimpse of a horse mounting a guy. Overall the doc was sad. I'm sure there are many more depraved individuals out there doing similar things. People always looking for the next thrill seem to get more and more desperate/extreme. Look no further than the scat and fisting afficianados.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | March 3, 2019 1:34 AM |
You won’t see anything but you will hear graphic descriptions. It’s very depressing, though, and I came out not understanding why a human would or could be this way.

Equine rape is not a joke
by Anonymous | reply 10 | March 3, 2019 1:43 AM |
If you really want to see the footage it's not very difficult to find on the internet. Needless to say, it's not very pleasant viewing. Mainly down to the shocking production values.

by Anonymous | reply 14 | March 3, 2019 9:28 AM |
As others have stated it is very dark, visually and also in mood, gloomy. I remember it being kind of artsy and non-linear too, parts of it some sort of stream of consciousness voice over.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | March 3, 2019 9:34 AM |
The guttural sound he makes when he gets impaled is chilling. Poor horse(s).
by Anonymous | reply 16 | March 3, 2019 9:37 AM |
The documentary looks boring.

From Wiki:
[quote]Pinyan had previously lost the ability to experience certain sensations, after suffering from a motorcycle accident, and he had became involved in increasingly extreme sexual acts, such as insertion of extremely large dildos, fisting, and receptive anal sex with horses. In the early 2000s, he found online a group of men, nicknamed "zoos", who began meeting at a farm in an unincorporated area in King County, Washington, for communal weekends and they filmed, and later posted online, each other being sodomized by horses, along with sometimes having sex with each other afterwards. According to Charles Mudede, co-writer of the 2007 documentary film Zoo, the men trained the horses to penetrate them by stripping, applying a horse breeding pheromone, and bending over. In 2015, Mudede wrote that the men had a sexual fixation on large penises "that may have had nothing to do with horses."[1] He also believed Pinyan did not truly love horses and was not a true zoophile, although Pinyan had a cast created of the penis of his favorite horse, Strut.

The people of Enumclaw, Washington were thrilled that this documentary was distributed and screened worldwide. It really put their small community on the map.

r22/r23 can you give a description? I'd rather not watch
by Anonymous | reply 24 | March 3, 2019 10:41 AM |
It's a good challenge for anyone who thinks of themselves as open-minded. You have to get past the visceral feeling you might feel of repulsion in trying to understand these men and their degree of alienation and/or persversity, depending on your point of view. It's also stylized to the point of parody, and something that would be an easy target for conservatives mocking "liberal cultural tastes."

R24 Imagine a guy lowering himself over a ball canning jar (klausen pickle sized) into his rectum, it shatters, he has a faint shudder as he picks out the glass shards.

Holy fuck ... what motivates people like that r26?
by Anonymous | reply 27 | March 3, 2019 10:51 AM |
Lots of blood as I recall. And the fact it was put online is just another indicator of the mans mindset or he died and someone found his video

R27 lol I have no fucking idea.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | March 3, 2019 10:56 AM |
These people make the scat troll seems downright vanilla.
Also, to all the people who said, "Well of COURSE Mr Hands was gonna die -- he let a stallion fuck him!!!" -- it's not like this was the first time it happened. The police found something like 100 videos of horse-on-man action.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | March 3, 2019 10:59 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 32 | March 3, 2019 11:20 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 33 | March 3, 2019 11:25 AM |
r33 I think the videos they recorded had a pornographic element to those "into" it.
The viral Mr Hands video obviously developed a life of its own.

I too watched the Mr Hands video and the worst part of it isn't that it's a bloke getting fucked by a horse. It's that there is a distinct moment his moans turn from pleasure or excitement into screams of realisation major internal damage has just been done.

In another thread, someone said this has less to do with sex and more to do with extreme self-loathing.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | March 3, 2019 1:34 PM |
I like to be a perv sometimes but this is obviously a case of serious mental issues not being addressed. And I'm honestly surprised there were multiple guys there. the videographer and the guy directing the horse dick into his ass. What a sick lot. For anyone who has been around horses they are beautiful and kind (domesticated or wild). I just feel compelled to comment because I wake up every morning to four horses in my front yard. Maybe watching the movie will give more insight to these kinds of people?
Self loathing seems a good description.

R45 Horses aren't very affectionate lovers. Perhaps they just needed some intimacy.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | March 3, 2019 2:37 PM |
This is a fairly popular genre in straight porn — some chick blowing a horse until she gets a quart of cum in her mouth. I don’t remember if any of them put the horses cock in their vag. I think people like it because it’s so wrong.
In law school there was a case in one of my casebooks about a bunch of bestiality videos and one was called “The Horny Boar.” I tried very hard not to laugh but the girl sitting next to me tittered and I just lost it.

I felt that the creative talent and energy that went into making this serious documentary might have been better spent on another project with, shall we say, wider social relevance. The documentary makers sought to preserve these men's diginity and humanize them by giving them a voice, and that, I suppose, was part of why many critics praised it. But the repeated images of vague figures walking through a field to ambient music does become somewha ridiculous when you consider their shared "hobby." And is the psychology behind this "kink" really all that interesting, and documentary-worthy?
I mean, look at one of the perpetrators, James Michael Tait, who was arrested again for the same misdeeds several years after the Enumclaw incident:
by Anonymous | reply 56 | March 3, 2019 3:00 PM |
R56 Not that interesting?
It's about a man who died getting fucked up the arse by a horse, the video of which was filmed by people he met in a chat room and that went on to go viral. You think that doesn't have any kind of importance? Of course people are going to be fascinated by the story.
Perhaps you should stick to Charlie Bit My Finger.

by Anonymous | reply 59 | March 3, 2019 3:15 PM |
"Interesting" is subjective, R57. But recall that the approach of the creators was to keep any overt luridness out of the documentary and focus on these men's psychology instead. So anyone watching the documentary for titilation and explicit material might come away disappointed.
What I'm saying is that the men who were the main focus of the film really were not at that interesting as subjects: lonely, disconnected, alienated men who found each other in their shared interests and chose to act out their desires. Your'e entitled to your opinion, of course, but the stated objective of the filmmaker(s) was to humanize the subjects. They didn't examine any of the subject matter you mention in any detail.

There was a documentary about some Swedish (?) woman who was featured with animals in some 1970s (?) porn films...maybe it was called THE FARM.
Anyway, it was so sad as the filmmaker explored how this woman ended up in these videos, and how her life continued to spiral downward afterwards. I think she was raped a lot by her dad and brothers from an early age, and she went to live in the barn at some point. She stayed on with her father as a caretaker for decades, was alcoholic, couldn't keep the farm up - until it became kind of a GREY GARDENS place. She would put on sex shows with animals for pay for tourists. She was ostercized by her town ... it was like every desperate, scuzzy thing that could happen to a person happened.
It was chilling.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | March 3, 2019 3:50 PM |
^^ Okay - I am remembering details of that woman's life all wrong - Bodil Joensen wasn't raped by family, but was beaten a lot by her fundamentalist Christian mother.
And she was from Denmark, not Sweden.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | March 3, 2019 3:55 PM |
The Bodil Joensen documentary was part of a series called The Dark Side of Porn and was shown here on television in the UK in the mid 2000s, if we're thinking of the same one?
by Anonymous | reply 64 | March 3, 2019 4:12 PM |
Whatever it was, it was so bizarre and sordid, and sad.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | March 3, 2019 4:19 PM |
I wonder if Mr. Hands actually had brain damage from his motorcycle accident.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | March 3, 2019 4:38 PM |
Wait, what now??
by Anonymous | reply 67 | March 3, 2019 4:46 PM |
This really is dangerous for the horse. If a stallion is taught to mount a human, he would very easily assume he could mount a human at any time. When he does it to someone who is feeding, grooming him or moving him from one place to another-you've got a dead human. No one is going to keep a killer horse around, no matter how valuable his offspring would be.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | March 3, 2019 5:08 PM |
Something about the documentary transfixed me. I thought it was very well done.
by Anonymous | reply 69 | March 3, 2019 6:12 PM |
It tries so incredibly hard to be "tasteful."
by Anonymous | reply 70 | March 3, 2019 6:25 PM |
R70 What were you expecting? An interview with the horse?
by Anonymous | reply 71 | March 3, 2019 6:29 PM |
It's heavily stylized without needing to be: the eerie, penetrating, sub-Philip Glass ambient music, the mannerly, actorly voiceovers. The hinting and "mystery". It's so earnest, it's laughable. You don't see the absurdity of it, no?
by Anonymous | reply 72 | March 3, 2019 6:34 PM |
Were any Sarah Jessica Parkers injured in the making of the film?
by Anonymous | reply 74 | March 3, 2019 7:03 PM |

I appreciate kinks of (almost) all kinds, but this ... well, it's just a little too much.

To those who have watched the Mr Hands video: what the fuck was up with his balls?
by Anonymous | reply 76 | March 5, 2019 12:48 PM |
Bodil Joensen was called "The Boar Girl" because she would have sex with pigs. She also had sex with dogs and horses, although I don't know if she was ever penetrated by a horse. She had an abusive childhood, but I've heard of much worse. It's unclear whether or not she was actually raped by anyone. She was in the infamous porn film called "Animal Farm." It didn't really have a title but came to be known as "Animal Farm" because it depicted people in a farm-like setting having sex with various creatures. For a while she had a successful porn career. She bought a farm with her earnings various animals there. There was a kind of documentary film about her called "A Summer's Day" which depicted her on her farm, tending to her animals and having sex with them. The film gives the impression that she was not very, well, clean. Her feet are encrusted with filth and there are flies hovering around her. The film was shown at some Danish film festival and I think was even well received. At any rate, the novelty of bestiality waned and people lost interest in her. Her farm fell into disrepair and she couldn't provide for her animals anymore. Authorities steeped in and took possession of the animals, most of which were in such bad shape that they had to be put down, and she lost the farm. She was eventually reduced to doing live sex acts with her dog in the sleaziest of sex clubs. Addicted to alcohol and pill, she'd do anything sexually for money. She died at age 40 from liver failure. She left behind a daughter. I wonder what happened to her? Anyway, the life of Bodil Joensen is one of the sickest things I've ever heard. What was WRONG with her, that she would do the things she did? One person who knew her probably summed it up as well as anybody could: "she liked animals better than people."

I saw the Mr Hands video. The sex itself was very quick, the horse (that seemed distressed) was done with a couple thrusts. The dude with him him guiding the horse in was moaning like crazy. All in all disturbing and sad

Yes ... how DID the daughter end up??
I know I'm oversimplifying, but when I hear of real out-lier people like that, I just have to think they're brain damaged in some way. Something significant is missing.
Or I guess you would just say they're "emotionally damaged". Even broken.
by Anonymous | reply 84 | March 6, 2019 6:24 PM |
[quote]r79 She had an abusive childhood, but I've heard of much worse.
There's been this sound bite on NPR that a study's revealed that while most children recover from stress and apprehension, a smaller subgroup are more "sensitive" and don't recover as easily.
I was like, "You needed a STUDY for this??"
Some people are just wired differently. Even as adults, one person can be cheated on and be okay, while another is devastated - maybe even turned off on love for years. One person is fired and gets on with a new job search, while another throws themselves out a window.
Some lack natural resilience.
