The police report and building residents/ staff who saw AH after the episode in question all testified that there were no evidence of injuries. From my clinical experience (former ICU nurse), the kind of traumatic injury that would produce bruises in AH's photos would almost certainly show immediately as swelling and redness at prominent area where the phone made direct contact. Bruising comes later but definitely you'd see swelling and redness. But the cops on scene as well as residents/ staff did not then and in days after the incident. Until AH showed up in court with bruises.

As for those who insist AH is not a gold-digger because she donated her settlement, that's not true either. She got more positive publicity and name recognition from the supposed abuse, more than true value of the settlement.

Don't blame the cops either. Police officers are trained to look for them, they take DV very seriously now, my friend was the victim of false accusation also during a period when he and his ex-wife were discussing divorce. When she made an accusation (called 911) that he restrained her from getting car keys to leave the house, the cops came and arrested him, put him in jail without any evidence aside from her words.
