They will NOT shoot the second part right away. Villeneuve and one of the producers even said they have to wait for the box office return of the first one. "Dune will probably take two years to make. The goal is to make two films, maybe more." He also told Fandom, "I could be involved with one or two movies". Depends on the Box office though... We will see. if it is a success, they will probably start filming the second part of the book in 2021.

To the discussion that movie stars don't put buds in the seat anymore. I can't agree with you guys more. Look at some of the Box Office results of "Mega Stars" these days. if it#s not a tentpole movie (and even that can go bad a bomb), most movies are not very successful. Christian Bale hasn't had a hit since Dark Knight Rises. Matthew McConaughey last successful movie was interstellar. Ryan Gosling is box office poison. Except for La La land, but that movie would have been successful even without him. George Clooney has an awful track record. And yes, Mamoa will not get you more people in the theater.

R62 Shazam is the new DC/Warner movie coming out on April 5, 2019. There is also additional Warner and DC news coming out in the last couple of days. There plans to concentrate on solo movies and Will Smith dropping out of Suicide Squad 2. Warner is gearing up to announce it soon.

Does anybody know what is a general mood among geek guys about Tim as Paul? Are there gonna be any controversy as with Brie Larson? I saw that most journalists who fans of Dune are glad that he is Paul and think the cast is perfect, but quick search on twitter among brodudes - many not so glad responses. Even those who think he is a good actor have their doubts if he can play Maudib or how they call his later character version of a personality. Don't think it has anything to do with walking red carpets together or visiting the set because I think most people agree neither of those things are likely. It's really about how of all the movies being made, Lily got a part in one that Armie is also in. It can be chalked up to coincidence but there's been a million such coincidences that it becomes harder to believe that none of this has anything to do with Armie and Timmy's relationship and it's all non-related.. And I'm talking about both things that are quite obvious and things that are more circumstantial - Armie's deteriorating marriage, Timmy having been single for a long time and then the LRD stunt coming along, Timmy staying in LA undercover for a week and then spending an extra day in London to see Armie before going off to film and generally the effort they put into seeing each other as much as possible, the black and white sweater, the tree post, Liz being away a lot of the times when Armie and Timmy are in the same city or together, Timmy still being so hung up on him years later when he has the whole world at his feet, Armie beaming when he's around Timmy and like he wants to die when he's around Liz most of the time, and now Lily being cast in this movie is like the cherry on top. The only thing Lilothees could possibly hold out hope for at this point is that Timmy goes to Montreal, but the chances of that is pretty much zero. And even if he did, with Armie being there, it wouldnt be much of a victory.

Even if let's say he has a little break after he finishes TFD and before he starts with Dune and decides to go to Montreal I really doubt it won't be hush hush. If Armie's there we won't know anything about it lbr. Unless Liz shoves herself in it to make it a bros hanging out thing.
