Klobuchar's polling in the single digits, closer to 0 than to 10%. She's not going to win the nomination - she's not going to be the one whom the Dems are going to send against Trump. Criticizing her abuse of her subordinates will dent Democratic chances in 2020 not one bit. So why bother protecting her against the much deserved criticism she's getting? There's zero evidence that any of the accusations against her are false, and much evidence that they're true: including the fact that rumors about her have been circulating in DC for years and that, not Putin, not Bernie, not Wikileaks, not Trump, but bona fide Democrat Harry Reid is the one who once asked her to back off and start treating her aides with more dignity.

We must realize this: Real life is not a battle of perfect Good against perfect Evil. We'll find many people on "our team" who are actually not angels - who are actually bullies.

I don't know why you had to mention the Right here. It isn't the right that is exposing those stories - it is her employees, and the outlets they chose to talk to are not ones aligned with the right. And yes, the employees must be scared to death of her - with good reason, I'd say. Those she still employs, she physically abuses. And those who've gotten rid of her, she has threatened their careers.

And there's no reason why the right would be scared of Klobuchar in particular. As said above, she's polling in the single digits for the primaries and when it comes to the general election she's one of the few Democrats that Trump would easily defeat.

In addition, she's the kind of Democrat that Republicans can sort of tolerate, and even vote for faute de mieux. A pro-Israel white WASP who's by far the most right-wing in the Democratic primary field. Have you even seen her platform? It reads like something a Democrat in the 1990s would propose. Or like an ungenerous parody of Hillary Clinton's platform composed by an extreme Bernie Bro. She would defeat any enthusiasm for the Democratic party in 2020 if she happened to win the nomination. And as polls show, she would hand the election to Trump.
