Will Darren Criss worm his way into this? Though he doesnt look like any actor from that era. Or maybe they wont be based on real people.

Darren Criss, Cody Fern and Finn Wittrock may all be in this. Ryan said that he's been "cooking something up for those three."

I dont look at that trio and think of that era in Hollywood. I'd have thought they would do something a little grittier and not so glamorous. If this is the project that post for them was about.

I think they'd be great for it, particularly Wittrock and Fern, both of whom have great bone structure.

Gag, r11. I'm tired of "gritty" -- I need some escapism, so let's see Cary and Randy falling in love, Jean Harlow cavorting with William Powell and Busby Berkeley staging his grandiose musical numbers!

R13 not saying I want another gritty show. I enjoy fantasy light hearted idealist stuff a lot but that's what I'd assume he'd put that trio in.

I don’t have any doubt that it’ll be loosely based on Scotty Bowers, just different enough that they won’t have to pay him for it.
