It all depends on whether they release the report. If they don't release it you know there stuff in it.

Short-term, yes, OP: a bump of 5 points maybe, but it'll go back to the mean over a couple months, 50-55% disapproval, 40-45% approval, assuming nothing else significant happens (big assumption).

They will find wrong doing by Trump. They cannot bury this. It has international tentacles and the international Intel community as well as our own will make sure it gets out. Trump is going to be so exposed and so damaged he will not be able to do anything at all.

We just need a Senate that will act. I hope the report is so damaging that the senate will either go after Trump or they will vote McConnell out of his Majority Leader role and find someone who will do what needs to be done.

If you aren't one of the Kool aid drinkers, you wouldn't need a report to tell you how crooked Trump is. You don't surround yourself with crooks and be a clean man. The House will continue investigating Trump and his cronies irrespective of whatever happens with Mueller.

There is already wrong doing by Trump. Trump is an unindicted co-conspirator in campaign finance violations related to Michael Cohen.

It'll give those "independent" people who actually lean strongly GOP, but who have drifted away from Trump in the last six months or so reason to return to supporting him, at least for a while, but probably not into the 2020 election, given Trump's manner of operating (disaster after disaster).

I hate those "independents" -- people in pancake restaurants they interview on MSNBC in the "heartland" who are like "Trump said some divisive things last night in his state of the union speech, but so did Stacey Abrams."

I've said for months that Pelosi and all the rest need to stop saying "We're waiting for the Mueller report" Now if they were saying it as a matter of courtesy, fine, I get that. But if they were saying they're waiting because they will depend on the outcome of the report to determine whether or not they go after Trump then they are full of shit. He is guilty of plenty of wrong doing without Mueller's findings. Right now. Ever since he took office. If they can't impeach that rotten fucker for putting kids on cages when will he finally offend them?

I'm gonna get yelled at but I truly believe that the system is set up so that, once in office, a president is nearly impossible to remove.

Nixon resigned but I'd bet anything that he would have been impeached but not convicted. As long as Trump just keeps denying and pandering to his base, who do not care if Putin helped him get elected or not, he'll stay for the entire 4-year term.

We know so much about the corruption and lies already, and it has made almost no difference in his approval ratings. People are tired, ill-informed, lazy and ugly. Most don't care. And if they don't care, the president gets to stay no matter how terrible he is.
