I cannot locate it anywhere, but I used to have a stand-up video of Totie Fields after her leg was amputated, reading all the cards she got. "If the leg doesn't get laughs, put on an eye patch and pretend you are a pirate. Don Rickles" "Nice to see you back on your feet again. Dr. Scholl." She talks about getting her prosthetic and accidentally calling it a prophylactic. She noticed that her new leg had a squeak so her doctor suggested she get an oiling. They went to STP, got oiled, and she got a sticker on her leg. Truly funny, but sad because she passed away a short time later.

Anne Bancroft’s finest comedic moment. This was part of a TV special she did. You will now understand Letterman’s Oprah, Uma, Uma, Oprah line from the Oscars.

I love Anna Russell's "How to Write Your Own Gilbert and Sullivan Opera." (She sings all the voices herself.)

Brilliant and hysterical. Gary Gulman. Gary recounts the thrilling tale of how postal code abbreviations came to be.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | February 21, 2019 11:24 PM |
Some of you are easily amused. Jesus.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | February 21, 2019 11:52 PM |
Yeah R17 - I didn’t find any of these that funny. And they are OLD. Anything from the 21st century?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | February 22, 2019 12:55 AM |
R18, most of the stuff from this century has been de-humorized
by Anonymous | reply 20 | February 22, 2019 1:14 AM |
Just a gif - but this gets me every time as I was a hairdresser in the 80s.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | February 22, 2019 1:28 AM |
That’s very ........specific humor R22. Thanks for the explanation.

The early Kathy Griffin stuff always kills me. Allegedly was a great special.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | February 22, 2019 2:24 AM |
I fucking love Tom Segura. This clip at about 2:45 where he describes tv show COPS. The line "Dats Cricket!!!" kills me. Then when I have my breath back, he says "he come through here with Jellyfish".

by Anonymous | reply 42 | February 22, 2019 4:31 AM |
R40 you have to take time to watch the videos. Some of these comedians are hilarious.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | February 22, 2019 4:33 AM |
Richard Pryor's heart attack - I heard this in one of his concert movies. It is a bit funnier when you can see his facial expressions. I laughed til I cried, then I was amazed I was laughing about someone's heart attack, then I laughed some more.
Man, I miss Richard Pryor.

I always loved the peaches song by Sandra. I am a almost eldergay and when I was young we all flocked to her live shows and laughed so hard. I think it kinda dates but she's a treasure in my book.

by Anonymous | reply 56 | February 22, 2019 7:58 PM |
The Goons, from BBC Radio in 1957. A masterclass in timing and the long joke. First heard it 30 years ago, and still makes me giggle.
