So to my point at R2, it took just11 posts (most of which were reposts of earlier, similar threads) before R11 posted "Justin", a name so common with American men in their 20-40s so as to offer no clues whatsoever as to the person's socioeconomic, ethnic or regional background.

But I am sure R11 thinks Justin Bieber is trashy or knew a girl in high school who was white trash and named her kid Justin so....

There are so many families that are solidly suburban middle class but are still complete white trash and it shows in their choice of names for their crotch droppings. They tend to give their spawn names like Jadyn, Kaylyn, Shawn. Or they will give them wasp surnames as first names, ie, Taylor, Tyler, Jackson.

R18/R27 interesting. My neurotic aspirational UMC manageress at work has a daughter she calls ‘Tammy’, which I recently found is short for ‘Tamarinth’ (really). Her other girls are called Saffron & Hyacinta, so I suppose there’s a theme though I haven’t the faintest where she got the idea.

Now, backstory. Tammy is the insatiable cockwhore to end all whores at just 24; with two babies already and several different men on different continents - to her odious mantis parents’ unending shame. One of those babies is *gasp* ETHNIC (a little SE Asian child) and there is some angst as to the father’s identity..

This Tammy is white & trashy beyond belief, but likeable for it because her slutty ruinous tomfoolery is showing up her awful folks. Afaik she’s was once a prodigious art student at a reputable school, too, which galls me as someone who had to scrape and bow and buckle down to even get into a decent College arts program at all (and be the first in my family branch so to do).
