Yeah, I was taken aback by the difference. I prefer him in the first episode. Finally a relatable male body on TV, I thought to myself when I saw those love handles in closeup. Oh, well.

no steroids needed for this. Looks like he lost less than 10 lbs of fat and re-started working out plus the tan.

The most changes you'll see with people like this is when they have a history of working out, let themselves go for a bit, then get back into it. Totally different than someone who never worked out before. Especially with beanpole guys like Ryan Reynolds who work to put muscle on but lose it if they dont keep it up. They see very different results in 8 weeks than a guy who never worked out before and starts at a gym

Pilots are usually made months before a production order goes into effect. This wasn't a sudden change.

Heck the guy could've even had another job lined up that he HAD to drop a few and tan for between the pilot and episode 1 filming.

He looks a lot like Peter Krause. I saw him playing a dying patient on three episodes of The Resident this past season. I think they were able to save him at the last minute. He's married to a woman.

I like him in either pic, but I voted for the one on the right.

The lighting has a lot to do with how he looks.

I recall Drew Tarver's character being confused by the Andrew Ridings's hot and cold fickleness.

There is something about him that reminds me of a young Peter Krause.

He's quite attractive in both photos. Based just on them, I cannot tell if he is worked out more in the right-hand photo or whether it's just different lighting and a different body angle.

Is this show coming back?

I recall someone saying they was planning on shooting season two early 2020 but then the COVID lock-down happened.

Season 2 is moving to HBO Max. I am ready. I watched the first season again last month. I hope Andrew is back, but they didn’t seem to leave room for his character to return.

I remember him from Season 1 of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt where I was hoping he would be a regular, but they wrote his character out after a few episodes.
