I will say for the record that I believe the most absolutely pathetic Wheel of Fortune I have ever seen was one day when I happened to be home from either school or work sick, watching with my mom who still remembers this episode clearly decades later.

I have to say I think the pairing of Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune is ingenious. First the viewer gets depressed over his stupidity when he can't remember the name the 15th element on the periodic table for final jeopardy, then gets to reclaim feeling of mental superiority when the category is place with the letters N__ __RK and the participants look blankly at the screen.

I think in most markets Wheel of Fortune comes before Jeopardy?
