Here's the thing - I don't think Megan should have been fired for her comments. She never defended blackface, but said that it was something that used to not be that big of a deal once upon a time. Yes, a lot of us knew it was wrong, but many of us saw minstrel shows or Al Jolson or whatever and didn't think much of it. It's not like pictures of her in blackface leaked or she came to the set in blackface.

Joy's picture is NOTHING like blackface. If she did use bronzer, it must have been very light, because she just looks like she got a little sun at best. People are really grasping at straws here.
