The news from Dune has been pretty underwhelming so far. I'm getting ready to cut my losses.

Villeneuve needed a young woman for the fanboys to fap to. So far their response has been great, they all want to fuck Z. It doesn't hurt that she has 54 million followers on IG. From what I've read the young women roles are pretty shitty, someone who has read the books could confirm. It could be a small role in the first movie to be expanded in a second one if the first isn't a box office flop. There's also another love interest that could be in a second or third movie, Paul's wife Princess Irulan (for a White actress). Paul and Chani die and she takes care of their children.

Then Irulan takes care of their children after Paul and Chani are both dead. In the first film, Chani will only appear in Paul's dreams, so very minor role. Somehow I just think he won’t age well. He really is thin doesn’t look like he can add weight or muscle. He looks less hot when he cuts his hair too. Once the hair is short, he looks basic. I’m not sure he can pull another look except the long haired one.i love him tho and I wish he was with someone else.
